TLDR - delicious sesame chicken, large egg rolls!, filling and large portions! Before the pandemic my church usually catered from Golden Jade for our in-person lunches after Sunday service. Even though we haven't had in-person lunches since 2020, we still cater from them occasionally whether it's for volunteers helping out with the church reconstruction or for today to celebrate someone's birthday! We had about 20 orders today so it took about 30 min for the restaurant to prepare. Since our church is close to Golden Jade we just walked over and got a large box filled with our individual orders. Another aluminum tray carried our sides of egg rolls and fried wontons. My order: sesame chicken combination platter - large portions! Enough for a second meal! - perfect ratio of fried chicken to tangy/ sweet/ sticky sauce - fried rice was a bit salty but just what I expected from my takeout lunch - egg roll was equivalent to about 3 typical sized egg rolls and filled with a lot of cabbage. The egg roll was crispy on the outside but a bit doughy on the inside since the wrapping is so thick I really enjoyed my meal! My go to Chinese take out is Sesame chicken, fried pork chops, or general Tso chicken. Yes these are basic dishes but I still love them.

First, the prices are way off: Marinated Beef on a Stick $4.25 but charged $7.25 BBQ Spare Ribs $6.40 but charged $8.75 Chicken Wings 4pcs. $3.25 but charged $6.75 Pint of Hot and Sour Soup $1.25 but charged $3.50 Steamed Dumplings 8pcs. $3.95 but charged $7.10 Shredded Beef w/Peking Sauce pint $4.35 but charged $8.25 and Szechuan Beef was substituted with out my knowledge plus menu states with White Rice but none was in the bag. The menu included with my order doesn't even have the item I ordered on that menu. The Golden Jade is the only Chinese Restaurant we have ordered from that didn't include Fortune Cookies. The Yelp Menu needs to be updated for sure

My egg roll was mushy and gross. The crab rangoon were in this weird, baked pouch- I have never seen crab rangoon like it before. I didn't like it, but my wife did. Boneless spareribs were overcooked. The honey wings were good, and even though it was 4 to an order I think I got like 8. Nothing wrong with that. The general tsoas was nice small pieces, but not crunchy enough for my liking. The real star was the chicken chow fun. I never like this dish, it's my wife's favorite, but this was awesome. Overall, I hoped for more with the high rating, but found at least 1 thing that was really good so I'm pretty happy.

Below average Chinese takeout. The food was dry and not that flavorful compared to other Chinese takeout restaurants I've tried. My family always gets general Tao chicken and the one we ordered from here was underwhelming and had no broccoli. I ordered the Szechuan beef and it was okay but not spicy at all. The lunch special portions were very small. Besides the lackluster food, they charge extra for the hot sauce ( even though we had a huge order for 7 ppl). The only thing that didn't disappoint was the egg roll.

My husband and I got delivery from here through grubhub last week. We have been looking for a good Chinese place near us for delivery for months. And we now have a winner! After stumbling upon it on grubhub with only a few reviews but mostly good ones, we took a chance and ordered from here. Estimated delivery was 50-60 mins and it arrived a a little earlier than expected. Food was still pretty warm when it arrived. We got a free can of soda with our order also. Prices are typical compared to other Chinese restaurants, ranging from $6-10 a dish. We ordered the garlic sauce tofu with vegetables, Szechuan tofu with vegetables and vegetable lo mein and white rice. Servings were generous. The lo mein had a good amount of vegetables in it, was tasty and not oily at all. We enjoyed it. Both tofu dishes were delicious. They had tons of tofu and vegetables and was super flavorful. However, I liked the Szechuan tofu better. All the food was very tasty, filling and delicious. We can't wait to try some of their other dishes on their menu. We now have a favorite new place for delivery and we will be ordering from here again soon!

I have been a regular customer at this Chinese restaurant for the past 5 years. The staff is very kind, accommodating and understanding of food allergies. They also give large portion sizes compared to other Chinese restaurants too and deliver quickly. I'm craving Golden Jade!
