I’ve been to this IHOP many times before, but after this last visit, I will never come back. It took over an hour to get our food, and when it finally came out, one of the pancake orders had a tomato in it. My French roommate was horrified. We asked the manager to remove the pancakes from the bill, and instead of handling it professionally, he was unbelievably rude. He flat-out refused to address certain members of our party, including my boyfriend, who was paying, and literally walked away mid-conversation. That is not just bad service, that’s disrespect. To be fair, our waitress was very kind, but she seemed new and overwhelmed, which led to mistakes with our order. Honestly, the real issue was not her — it was the manager, whose behavior made the entire experience uncomfortable for everyone at the table. We’ve been loyal customers here for a long time, but this was the last straw. Between waiting over an hour, getting the wrong food, and being treated so rudely when we asked for a simple correction, this place has lost our business completely.

Always consistent at this IHOP on Easton Ave. The staff (mostly young white guys and Spanish kids) are respectful, polite, and on time with orders. Food is standard IHOP quality, but the great customer service is what keeps me coming back — especially for those buttermilk pancakes.

Got seated by a hostess, witnessed waiters walking around and no one had the urge to stop and say hello to even serve drinks. Never had such terrible experience. Waited 15 mins and just walked out.

Went to IHOP this morning and was promptly seated by a younger hostess Waited and watched waitress serve other patrons food diagonal to my seating, yet walked away
I waited for over 12 minutes and no one came over to start with coffee or take my order Very disappointed and informed the hostess and left Went to the diner in Somerset and had breakfast

Always a great experience at IHOP! The food is fresh, the pancakes are fluffy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Perfect spot for a quick breakfast or a family meal.

IHOP -- the dead roach I encountered in the bathroom made me reflect on of the fragile absurdity of life. Are not we are all, like the poor little cockroach, destined to die surrounded by mystery and contradiction? (E.g., How can the world feel so full of magic to a child who, once of age, finds it all so tedious and banal? Why does a loving Creator allow suffering?)
(Also, what's up with the roach being all dead in the IHOP bathroom? Doesn't he know that's gross?)
Maybe true freedom lies in accepting that our efforts may be futile, but fighting on, knowing that true meaning lies in the struggle itself.
Anyway, decent pancakes.

This IHop is so much better then the one in East Brunswick, Manalapan and a few i went to. They have people who attend you right away and the food is so much better. Delicious tasting.
