This experience was unmatched! It felt like I was truly transported to to Ichia, Italy. Each bite was melt in your mouth delicious and it is easily one of my top 3 favorite Italian restaurants in NJ.

We went to this restaurant based on a review in a magazine. It was an hour and a half away. When we reserved on open table it has a section about if it is was for a special occasion. I checked Anniversary. It was our 37th. Not sure why that was available because it didn't get noticed at this restaurant. I told the waiter I couldn't have any dairy, milk cream etc... I asked about a soup... it had dairy. I was clear. One appetizer came covered in a layer of cheese. I was surprised the waiter didn't say that there was cheese. I peeled it off. When our entrees came, mine had cheese on it. I can tell you my husband and I were not thrilled because this meant my husband was either waiting for my dish to be remade or he was eating alone super slowly. He did eat slowly but this made a special day out unpleasant to say the least. I absolutely hate it when an expensive dinner is thrown off because a person has to wait and the other person finishes their meal. My food came and it was pretty awful anyway. It had a really gamey taste and it sat. I was quite surprised the waiter didn't ask why I had not touched it. We ordered a dessert that was safe for me.. a fruit tart with a sorbet. On a different note, I found it also unacceptable for me to be able to hear a waiter tell another older couple that in the future they cannot come and just order appetizers. They had ordered three. I don't need to hear some nice older couple ( and I am not far behind those two) be scolded in any tone. I would not return to the restaurant even with all the pluses for the food that was good. Too many lovely restaurants with excellent service and waiters who pay so much better attention to their customers. So in conclusion: 1. If your customer tells you no dairy.l.. then warn them if they choose something that doesn't say it has dairy and does. 2. if you see on the reservation that it is for an anniversary, say something like.. 3. If your customer doesn't touch the food. Ask why.

This was our second time here and it was just as phenomenal. The team at Luca's do a tremendous job of transporting diners to a beautiful island off Italy. The food is always a hit and the staff and waiters are extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

As usual the food and the service was EXCELLENT! MATT took very good care of our table. I had two guests who both ordered the specials and said they were FANTASTIC. I mentioned to them you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu or the specials. Everything is always delicious.

We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I am a caterer. I am very critical and very observant. My first visit: very disappointing.
Had a simple dish, as I always do at a new restaurant.
1. Bread basket: i teresting albeit pretentious slices of bread and rolls. Meh.
2. Chicken parmigiana: cutlets just shy of burned, very overcooked, dry, tough. I was very hungry and a bit shocked by tge preparation. Cheese okay. Tomato sauce: shockingly bland. The accompanying rigatoni was undercooked, not al dente, but chewy. The tomato sauce was the same: bland.
My partner had shortribs ang gnocci. The meat was well cooked and melt-in-mouth tender, but bland. The gnocci were perfect intaste and texture, but the sauce was bland and uninteresting.
I read so many 4 to 5 star reviews, I am nonplussed by tonight's experience.
This is a pricey restaurant fir an Iralian stripmall restaurant. I was expecting excellence. But sorely disappointed.

The appetizers were delicious; especially the bruchetta, which looked like a pizza. The Luca was a big hit as well. Most of us ordered that as our meal. The waiter was very good and attentive!!

had a terrible food experience here. meatballs were loaded with gristle and you got 4 small meatballs for $24. a ripoff. the burrata was served very cold and solid. should have been at room temperature and liquid/viscous in the middle. that was just terrible. the beet pasta was an awful dish and the presentation was just not very appealing. everything is very expensive here. at a loss as to where they got good reviews from.
