We got to try the food today, we were so excited to try indian food in a wrap. But the grain was half cooked and I felt every masalas was super raw. Indian masalas needed to be cooked well, I felt really bad for trying the food. Literally we had to throw away as the food was troubling just in 2 or 3 bites.

I've been here a few times when in town on business. Love it. Quality food, fresh ingredients, unique flavors and most of all, great service. The garlic + chili wrap is my go to.

My sister and I couldn't stop saying "wow" as we scarfed down our bowls! This place is a hidden gem, perfect for any occasion. The owner, Anita, was amazing. She helped us create our own soul-satisfying meals, and she was so friendly. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing time (oops!), and Anita had already started closing up. We apologized and said we'd go elsewhere, but she insisted on serving us anyway! She told us she opened the store 8 years ago and loves it. You can really taste her passion in the food. It's clear how much she cares.

A hidden gem in Somerset ?Generous portions, friendly service, and delicious flavors. It’s like a chipotle or cava but with Indian and Mediterranean flavor notes. I’ve had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer in naan “burrito” form and have left happy and full both times. The ingredients used are super fresh too. Great vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Masala Bay was a great experience. It was my first time there this past week, and the owner greeted me, and gave me a rundown of how everything worked. It is basically an Indian Chipotle - I've never seen anything like it, but the concept is genius. The owner was very patient and helped me and my bf choose the perfect combination of ingredients by explaining what goes well together. The prices were in line with Chipotle's prices, which was pleasantly surprising!I will definitely be back here!

Masala Bay is a fast casual dining offering a blend of Indian and Middle Eastern-inspired bowls and burritos (wrapped in naan bread). Its unique naan variations paired with spicy spreads create an intriguing experience.

Found this place via scrolling on fb / ig and saw an ad for it.. Never heard of it and I'm not even from the area but decided to give it a try.My friend and I visited it on a rainy Saturday afternoon.. The owner of the place was working behind the counter which in itself is impressive right away.. She explained the process of whag they offer very easily and it was fun interacting with her and her husband. Very kind peopleThe place was established 8 yrs ago and I'm bummer out that I only found out about it recently.Using Naan as a wrap is a genius idea tbh.. They made the Naan fresh after ordering. The owner also gave a sample tasting of their soup which was a kind gesture and the soup itself was also great flavorful and the right amt of spices that wasn't overbearing! My friend and I both got wraps and they were quite good.. Actually very good that I'd gladly make tbe 45 min drive from my home to visit this place again!I saw other folks come by in the early evening and overheard their convos with the owner.. Nearly all of them knew them as their own friends.. It was impressive.. Usually you don't hear or see that at any restaurant.. But the owners were interested in knowing their customers.Would I recommend? Absolutely ?Thanks to the owners for being genuine people.. It makes a whole lot of difference when you get to encounter with them at a restaurant ?

My mom and I absolutely loved this place. The owner was one of a kind and the food was phenomenal!
Vegetarian options: Most everything was vegetarian and/or gluten free!
Parking: A whole lot with “minute spots” right up front. It was raining and I barely got wet.
Kid-friendliness: The environment was equally calming and stimulating. There was enough to take in without being hectic.

Came with a couple we had just met and my husband, all new to the restaurant. We two are vegan, they were not. Some of the food was in the back?? Some of it was on display. Once prepared, it was pretty good, but no one else was in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was served in a non recyclable plastic container with disposable plastic cutlery, though the website depicts compostable containers. Server was very kind but spoke very little English. I got by with my Spanish. Seems like most orders might be take out, but we didn't even see a lot of that when we were there. Please make vegan naan, use the compostable containers and perhaps add language training for the staff.
I ordered a Bowl with Clay Oven Chicken Tikka inside it for Take out Lunch on 01/25/24, this tasted awful. Chicken was Cold, hard, did not smell well. I threw all chicken in thrash. Not trying again.

We tried two types of vegetarian masala bowls, we must say it was awesome. Didn’t expect Indian fast food of this concept and it was worth the visit. Highly recommend ?
