I ordered take out during lunch time today. I was extremely disappointed when I opened the bag and saw that my food (Aloo Mattar and rice) were each in sealed plastic containers that looked exactly like they were pre-packaged meals from the grocery store that you throw in the microwave. Literally adhesive sealed plastic seal on a very small plastic bowl. I'm certain they were just put in the microwave. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING not to mention disrespectful as I paid over $20 for this meal and gave a tip even for takeout.

Excellent atmosphere, good taste in music, no compromise on quality for takeout, friendly staff who answer questions and adjust the order professionally. The chicken biryani is excellent, superb veg samosas too. The Peshwari naans could benefit from a little more fruit but are very nice anyway. Good sauces and dips, nice fresh raita and quite a thick mango lassi. Tablecloth and hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance would benefit from a bit more cleaning but I was there to pick up takeout at the end of their open hours. No problem parking as it's a strip mall with a big parking lot.Definitely keen to come back.

The best Indian food in the Somerset, New Brunswick and North Brunswick area! We are a Latino family and have been coming here for years and it’s always first class in food and service. The staff is very friendly and the lunch buffet can’t be beat!
Really love the food, ambience and staff, especially Ricky bhaji presence adds charm to overall place. Visited multiple times and always felt special with food and welcome by Ricky bhaji.

Best quality buffet at price in town. Goat korma, Chana masala, butter chicken with naan are THE best!!!!Parking: In front of the shop
It is a terrible place. Bhel was stale. Food was bit cold and salty. The atmosphere was terrible with extremely loud live singing for a small place. Customers were going in and out of the kitchen (I think that violets health code.) Ruined our dinner. We left because we could not even talk. Overall terrible experience and ruined our dinner.

I used to come often here as the owners changed over time. I used to get papdam for free as a starter as we wait for our food but recently with the current owner they have stopped. Very
Quite pleased and surprised with how good the combination dinner for 2 turned out. Went to Pooja with a coupon to try restaurant and the food was delicious. Taste and quality stands out from many other Indian restaurants we have tried and we will definitely return for brunch.
Though the management's courtesy and warm atmosphere initially created a promising impression, the food quality at this restaurant ultimately disappointed. The presence of Guru Nanak's photo raised expectations of a flavorful Punjabi experience, but the flavors sadly fell flat. They lacked cohesion and seemed haphazardly thrown together, like a discordant mix of musical genres. The uncooked rotis were inedible, and the bland, tasteless curry evoked the feeling of dining in a mess hall rather than a restaurant. While the management deserves praise for their efforts, the subpar food quality unfortunately overshadows the entire experience.
