The best sandwiches around. Been ordering from tastes for years now and can assure you they’re the best! The bread is always fresh and the ingredients used are delicious. The half size isn’t small it’s split into two and a whole sub is shareable for up to 4 if you don’t mind smaller pieces. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful Tastee Sub Shop catering experience that not only fed my guests but became the hit of the party! I ordered catering from them in December, and let me tell you, they brought their A-game in every single way. From the moment I called to place the order, the process was seamless. The staff was professional, friendly, and helped me select a variety of options to accommodate everyone. They asked all the right questions, anticipated every detail, and had me feeling totally confident.
On the day of the event, the food was delivered right on time, looking and smelling as fresh and perfect as it tasted. The ingredients were top-notch. The bread and veggies were fresh and the subs were generously packed. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the tuna! In fact, my friend Jennie enjoyed the tuna sandwiches so much she smuggled a couple into her purse for a late-night snack (and trust me, she’s not one to casually carry around tuna in her purse —this was a big deal).
Tastee Sub Shop didn’t just cater the party; they made it unforgettable. The care and pride they put into their food and service was very clear. I appreciated how they went above and beyond, just like their sandwiches. If you’re on the fence about where to cater your next event, go with Tastee. Feel free to take my word for it!

I gave this place 3 stars, and I want to explain why you should definitely go check it out. The bread and ingredients are so fresh and great quality. However I have it three stars because that should be the standard. The shop loses two stars from me because a lack of toppings and customizing sandwiches is not very clear particularly on the website. The times I have gone in person to customize my sandwich with two meat options, its not clear if they are just splitting the meat topping or charging me for double meat. Additionally its seems like meat quantity is dependent on person (i could be wrong and maybe its just spread differently), but in general I am very satisfied with the meat quantity on my sandwich. I also think they have fair prices. This place could easily be a 5 star for me if I could just go to their website and order a meatball sub with added pepperoni and two different cheeses, but i would have to call or go in person to do that. Often times when I go in, no one else is in there and I feel like the whole staff is focused on me and its quite uncomfortable, the staff also tries to ask me what I want very quickly and I feel like they arent listening and this has led to my sandwich being wrong twice out of the dozen times ive been. I also dont really understand their reward system but thats not really a big deal.
Update: Just to add another frustration, their website ordering process does not include their stuarts bottle drink selection. Not offering menu items on your website is really inexcusable especially when they arent products produced by your own store. If Tastee reads this, I really like your food, but you are losing money from me by not making these changes.

Iconic sub shop, has been here and serving since I was a kid. Stop with big chains joints, they don't compare to the size, quality and the bread!!!.. Toppings are always fresh and a great selection of chips to pair with any sandwiches. Definitely my top 5 places to go, with their other shop in Edison also.
