I recently visited Bear and birch and was blown away by the exceptional customer service skills from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, Anastasiya greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. Simge and Anna in the back were equally impressive, providing top-notch service with kindness and attention to detail. The teamwork and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Keep up the fantastic work!
I've had the pleasure of visiting Bear and Birch several times, and one of the highlights is always seeing Anthony helping out! He's such a delightful young man, and it's wonderful to see him working alongside his mom, assisting with towels and other tasks. His enthusiasm and eagerness to help are contagious, and he always greets guests with a bright smile. It's clear that he's learning valuable skills and values from his mom, and it's heartwarming to see them work together as a team. Keep up the fantastic work, Anthony!
The steam room is weak. Because the clients are mostly Americans who want a weak steam room. Not suitable for lovers of Russian steam rooms
amazing
Worst banya I've ever been to in my life, by far. Felt like a dirty rowdy frat house or something, awful. 3 tiny sauna rooms, all lacking proper heat or even size for that matter. I have a bigger steam room in my gym that costs $75 a month vs $60 for a day pass to this place. Entire place is a slipping hazard because they haven't figured out how to lay down rubber mats through common areas like literally every other banya. Jacuzzi swarmed with small children and the actual tub jets aren't even running. Food was not good either, I've never had a borscht that tasted like canned tomato soup. No bread or lemon with the herring. What the actual hell is this place, left after 45 minutes. Never been so disappointed with a spa in my life. Place is not just bad all around but also a genuine safety hazard. Cant believe I spent real money here today, this ruined my whole day.
Will stick with Marlboro banya for central nj area, and BRC for north jersey area
This is your sauna club to vibe at. Big OPEN spaces with plenty of room to stretch and feel relaxed. Upbeat and friendly membership. Peter and his staff are fun and always willing to accommodate. Day time is relaxed, and night is always a good time. Brand new COLD PLUNGE that will have you you shocked to the core. And beautiful sauna to balance it out.
I visited for a facial with a gift card from my son. The facial with Lupe was lovely.
The facility (facial/ massage room) needs improvement, was not as warm and welcoming as other high end spas. Large room, High ceiling, bright lights , no bed warmer, no warm blankets while laying down, the robe was scratchy and had stains on it. Spa music was too loud. No separate area to change. And the anesthetian did not step out while I changed. Felt embarrassed and knew right away that this was not going to be a high end experience even though I was paying $140.
Had to walk through water on the main floor to get to the upstairs. Thought I might slip and fall.
All in all, I would give Lupe 3 or 4 stars for the actual facial but 2 stars for the facility.
Probrably won’t revisit.
Had an amazing experience because of their amazing employee Anna. She’s so accommodating and welcoming, I felt extremely amazing and relaxed throughout my whole experience. Shes truly an amazing employee at this facility with amazing amenities.
Anna is the absolute best most personable front desk worker I know. She’s the BEST! Gotta love Anya ❤️

Paid 120$ for two people on a Sunday and place was completely packed. Had to wait in line for cold plunge, shower, the steam room I was literally elbow to elbow. Place was dirty and smelled, horrible.
The place went downhill. This used to be the best Russian spa in New Jersey. The steam room today half worked, the showers are becoming dilapidated, the area in front of the steam rooms was dirty. The place was half empty on Saturday night, which says it all. This comes from a guy who knows a thing or two about steam rooms. Now only Brooklyn remains with decent steam rooms. Sad.
A nice place to relax l, the food was also good and they have a juice bar. The bartender simge was also nice and helped us a lot
Good place. Stuff is very friendly. Clean and well prepeared steam ruoom and russian style banya/sauna.
