Food is authentically delicious. Reminds me of my moms mexican food.Tacos de carne Asada and tacos al pastor were delicious. My absolute favorite was the chicken enmoladas....perfect mole sauce. Mole sauce was very authentic, not spicy nor bitter...just a good balance of flavors. The other favorite was the burrito Bandera. The green sauce on the burrito was so tasty, I would ask for a side of that sauce just to add more to burrito. 10/10.

El Agave is a really quaint little place on W. Main in Freehold. We had the Mexican Nachos minus the chorizo, hard tacos with beef and the Mexican Flan. Excellent choices. Go try it out!

My husband and I try a lot of Mexican restaurants. We tried El Agave for the first time on Saturday and we both ordered the burritos. This just may be the best burrito I've ever eaten! I chose the one with the Diablo sauce. The heat was just on the verge of too hot, which is how I like it and the flavor of the filling was PERFECT!
I couldn't finish it so I took half home. I am eating it for lunch as we speak and it's just as delicious!!!
We will definitely be back!!!
