Lobster House of Freehold

Lobster was delicious and the clam chowder was pretty good. We unfortunately didn't get the best service. Would be willing to give it another chance but not Friday night again.

Food was mediocre at best and the service left a lot to be desired.

Last week was our first time we came to that place. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the excellent cooking and wine and with the decent payment. We will surely go back there soon.

The Big Franky Crab was excellent the steak and scampi was great and the service awesome

Nice cozy place. Not flashy but good food. 20 oz lobster tail was awesome. Not cheap but not expensive. Will go again

This was our first time here. The place is low key. Nice atmosphere..its BYOB like most places in Jersey we started with a lobster bisque and a crab soup..both excellent. The crab soup was rich and flavorful..my wife had the stuffed shrimp which she enjoyed. I had the lobster risotto..which was FANTASTIC..we will definitely be going back.

What lovely dishes including perfect oyster.. the waiters couldn’t be more nice. I would really love to visit here again. The recommended wine also went so well with their foods. This restaurant equips Kind and gentle service, nice foods, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great food. Loved the crab soup, tuna, and mango cod

Food was excellent and plentiful. Takes a little long to get your food, however, we had a party of 11 and we were enjoying each others company.

You can't always judge a place based on good reviews!!! I was very disappointed. I gave this restaurant one star because the staff was very nice. We sat outside, which was enjoyable. However, when I went inside the restaurant to use the bathroom the interior was very unappealing, it didn't smell good, and the ladies bathroom was not clean. The food just wasn't good. My boyfriend’s dish was over cooked. His daughter and her boyfriend both ordered the king crab legs and both agreed it was rubbery and tasteless. For $52 a plate, I would have expected better. They are very overpriced.

Don't expect to receive service if you show up during some business hours. That's what happened to me when I showed up at 8:30 PM (30 min. prior to closing) on a Monday evening in hopes of having them make something for take-out. I was told the kitchen was closed. They were polite about it, but none-the less they didn't even observe their own policy.

We enjoyed our meal here. Delicious food served by friendly staff coupled with good music. Highly recommended!
