Amazing new restaurant! We enjoyed a terrific dinner at Marmara - the restaurant itself was beautiful and comfortable and the food was some of the best Turkish food we’ve had. From the hot puffy bread and the mixed cold appetizers (each one better than the next) to the lahmacun (a flat bread covered with ground meat and spices) to the entree kebabs and Adana, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Was meeting a friend for dinner and we were looking for a restaurant that was at a hallway point and feel so lucky that it was Marmara! We had the Marmara salad which was so fresh and bright and delicious, then we had the falafel which was also delicious, and then were absolutely blown away by the cold baklava, which was sweet and butter and creamy, far superior to any I have ever had before. Marmara Mediterranean Cuisine offers outstanding food and excellent service in a nice atmosphere. The challenging location is worth it for the delicious Adana kabab and other perfect dishes. The restaurant feels like the closest thing to authentic Mediterranean cuisine in town. The food is AMAZING, made by authentic Turkish chefs, and is presented nicely with huge portions. Homemade desserts, such as cold baklava and almond pudding, are highly recommended and taste amazing. While some recent reviews noted that service can be spotty at times, the overall experience remains welcoming. The staff creates a warm environment, making guests feel like part of the Middle Eastern family. Turkish tea on the house adds a nice touch to the visit. Overall, the restaurant provides an incredible experience with great service, delicious meals, and exciting Friday nights featuring a belly dancer.
