Went for Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. Restaurant was less than half full, yet service was spotty at best. I asked for new silverware between the appetizer and the main and never got it (so grabbed it from the empty table nearby) also server opened our wine bottle (BYOB) but couldn’t be bothered to fill our glasses. Same throughout the meal. The chicken tikka was hard and tough. My wife asked for mild saag and instead got spicy. Below expectations based on our experience...
I have come here multiple times for family dinners to celebrate occasions. They handle large parties as well, and the service is always impeccable. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable with suggestions. The portion sizes

Walking in to an empty restaurant at lunchtime on a Friday should have been a clue to the meal ahead. The portions, although large, had none of the flavor of authentic Indian food.
