The Bagel Nook Reviews
I have been a loyal customer and frequent recommender of Bagel Nook for a long time, but after my recent experiences at the Ocean location, that is unfortunately changing. I've noticed a consistent lack of friendliness from the staff, including a recent phone call where I asked what time they close and was told they close at 3:00 "on the dot" in a very dismissive tone.

Soooo good! 😋 one day when I am braver I will come back to get the hot Cheeto bagel! 🥯 We need one in OB!
First time customers. Decided to give the Bagel Nook in Southaven, MS a try today. Food arrived cold and nearly every single add-on requested was clearly missing from each dish. I was charged for them, mind you. But no one preparing the food could be bothered to serve the food as requested. The Bagel Nook offers a wide variety of specialty bagels and sandwiches that attract many customers. It features unique flavors like Cookie Monster and Fruity Pebble bagels with sugar cookie cream cheese, as well as the popular Fatty sandwich. Customers can also enjoy the French toast bagel with pork roll, egg, and cheese, which has been described as mouthwatering. The restaurant's crew works with purpose and precision, making the lines move quickly, even when they are long. While some specialty items may be too sweet for certain customers, traditional options, such as THEC (pork roll, egg, and cheese), are well-received. The house-made fruit waters are also a hit among visitors.
For those who prefer a more adventurous bite, the Flaming Hot Cheetos bagel sandwiches, "The Wrecker" and "The Promise Land," offer exciting combinations. The bagels are chewy in a good way, and many agree that they are different from typical grocery store bagels. Despite the higher prices, with trips averaging around $12 per item, many consider the Bagel Nook worth the drive for its distinctive offerings. It’s a great place for a fun, once-in-a-while breakfast adventure, especially for those who enjoy fresh bagels and great customer service. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for all customers.
Customers love the variety of options and the quality of the bagels, describing them as amazing. The store is clean and organized, and the friendly staff work hard to serve everyone quickly, even during busy mornings. Many recommend ordering ahead to avoid long waits, especially when the place gets crowded. The location also offers some outdoor space, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Despite some issues with order accuracy and wait times, most visitors find the experience worth it, appreciating the unique flavors and the fun, adventurous menu choices.
