Very cool place for lunch. Right on the Delaware River. Great views. My friend said it was the best burger he ever had. The garlic fries were great. The seafood soup is like a Manhattan Clam Chowder, it was very good.

My fried egg sandwich was good except the Porkroll was over cooked for my taste. Fantastic sandwich otherwise.

The Spiced Ginger Cookies were fabulous. We got lucky and snagged a couple as they came out of the oven fresh.

They make everything from scratch in house.

Most deeeelicious chocolate, pecan pie on the face of this Earth, just absolutely AMAZING! All the home-baked goods are extraodinary, but the chocolate, pecan pie rivals any I've ever had near the Texas/ Louisiana border, where they've perfected it. (The Pecan Tree is the Texas State Tree, and so prized that no Pecan tree in Texas may be felled without obtaining a permit from Austin.)
Texans are SERIOUS about their Pecan Pies, and so am I!

Visited after a bike ride on the adjacent D&R rail trail (which runs South along the Delaware River to Trenton then back North to New Brunswick).
The cafe is in the former station, with windowed seating added to overlook the path and the river and the bridge - charming! - and with dozens of free parking spaces next to the trail.
Very good food and beverage. Lunch menu is imaginative salads, sandwiches, tacos and beautiful baked goods.
I had the Works Dog, a unique recipe which is maybe the best hot dog I ever ate, and I am from Chicago and live in the NYC area. Beef frank, toasted bun, sauerkraut, red onions, sweet relish, add your own mustard.
Mint Tea was good also (shoulda asked for less ice)
My friend had a Southwestern chicken wrap and onion rings, very happy too.
Oh and they are very nice, you order at a counter and take a seat, they bring your food when it's ready. If you want a cup of water, ask and they will bring that too.

Excellent food! Love their fish tacos, vanilla donuts, and the cheese and egg sandwich is delicious! The chef/baker Lisa is pleasant and she exudes warmth to this rustic
and inviting place. Look no further, this place has the absolute best food! I also love their coffee and chai latte.
