To be fair I know what they were trying to accomplish in this small town homey feel but compared to other restaurants it just didn't hit the mark. Advertised as a French restaurant with a rating of 4.6, I would expect much better. The burger was average at best. We wanted to sit outside at a patio and fortunately so did all the flies who want to sit with us. Service was pretty much what you would expect from very young girls that have zero customer service training. Not recomended.
This is a favorite restaurant of ours in Frenchtown. Whether it is fish and chips, burgers, salads, quiches or any of the other menu choices, the food is flavorful and consistently good. The servers are friendly and make it a great experience.
Chez Daniel is a wonderful casual French cafe. We ate there for the first time today Father's Day. We shared the Tarte aux Champignons it was excellent. My husband had fish and chips. The fish was fried perfectly and very fresh. The french fries were fresh cut potatoes doesn't get any better than that. I had the Duck Confit Grilled Cheese. So delicious and very filling I only ate half and brought the rest home. Our server Abby was great. Very cheerful and knowledgeable...
