Unlike a lot of the restaurants now on this main drag. Frenchtown Cafe has been here for as long as I can remember - I don't know if it was in this EXACT location the whole time, but my childhood memories going back to the early 90s definitely included this. I grew up down the road in Milford, and our go-to restaurant in Frenchtown was always Napoli by the park, but I'm pretty sure we ended up here once or twice. Honestly? Wasn't the best on our most recent visit,...
Wow - we stopped for lunch on our bike ride along the D&L canal path. We were lucky to get a table since lunch was very busy. I had the grain bowl and it was absolutely delicious. I can honestly say that it was one of the best meals that I have had in a long time. I highly recommend it. The tofu was delicious. It was grilled perfectly and probably the best tofu on a salad that I have ever had. Service was efficient and friendly. We definitely will include lunch at the Frenchtown...
It was a packed Father’s Day, and I was a party of one and I have never seen a staff work their butts off as hard as this one did! All of them just hustled and really communicated well with each other, it was really impressive to watch. Above all, they managed to get me a nice seat at the bar, despite being packed, and delivered me the most delicious blueberry pancakes. A great experience, I will be back!
