This a 5 star review because it hit all of the check marks. You simply cannot get the same value you will get here anywhere else.Firstly, the staff is family, and very welcoming and accommodating. They Truly care about the restaurant, its legacy and there foodA very comfortable environment with 80's/90's country music playing and a homey feeling dining room. I felt like I went my cousins for dinner and coffee.Our waitress was one of the owners and helped me select some craft brews they offered. Very generous and appreciated.The Buffalo Wings are excellent. Cooked right and in a thinner sauce with a little zing but not overpowering.Our dinners were the Godfather Trio (Veal, Shrimp Parm and Eggplan Rollantini) and the 16oz Sizzling steak.The Italian Trio was a good portion and had a nice sauce, very filling and a very reasonable price.The Steak was better than some steakhouses and "higher-end" restaurants that like to charge $40-$60 for it.The steak was PERFECT! And for a price point under $30 is one of the best bargains you can find! Flavor was amazing and cooked expertly!We finished with coffee and the Chocolate Mousse Cake & Cheesecake. Well worth it and again; a price you can't beat.We even took home dinners for work the next day. It was that good.This is a Gem and a throw back to how things used to be and should be. Where your welcomed in and treated like a guest in a home and fed a wonderful meal.***Keep in mind - Cash Only But the have anATM on site. Not a big deal.Head in and enjoy. I'll definitely be back!!!

Charlie Blood's is a Garfield, New Jersey institution that really is a must-visit if you are in the area. The ambiance is incredible and like stepping into another time and place. What a great vibe. The service is friendly and professional and only adds to the experience. The menu is varied and the hot dogs here were pretty solid. I will say that the dippy dog was pretty stellar. Charlie Blood's is the kind of place that I wish were in my neighborhood. We need these neighborhood joints where the community can rely on as a respite from the day. Charlie Blood's is more than a business in the neighborhood, it is a part of that neighborhood. If you find yourself in Garfield, New Jersey, I would definitely recommend a visit to Charlie Blood's. I am confident that younwill enjoy this place as much as I did.

Local neighborhood watering hole with friendly service. Plentiful food but not outstanding. Prices are reasonable. Western and nostalgic interior. Restaurant has sandwiches, burgers, pizza, Italian specialties and fried seafood. Steak was on the tough side though

Great food and service. Family owned business that takes extreme pride in the restaurant. Sizzling NY Stip was delicious!. Owners are fantastic, talk to everyone, and provide great service. Atmosphere is unique to the area with western decor and country music playing in the background. Will go back and recommend.

I don't know how to describe this steak. The truth is it's d@#n perfect. Having had steak all over the States this beats Texas and Binions in Vegas, Wolfgang steaks were the best until I ate at Charlie Bloods. Charred to perfection.Like Nike says Just do it!
