Rose pizza is the best…There’s no pizza like this in NJ…I’m 60 years old and Rose pizza tastes like pizza tasted in the 1970s …I don’t know what happened the last 4 decades but pizza sucks!!! These other pizza places get away with serving garbage because pizza is basically cheese, sauce and bread, I guess that combination will always taste ok when you’re hungry. But the reality is, it’s not the beautiful pizza Rose makes. Every other pizza joint should be ashamed of themselves for calling garbage pizza. As a matter of fact, customers should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to eat this garbage and allowing them to remain in business. Rose is the only pizza I’ll eat !!!

We have been ordering from this restaurant A LOT since we moved to the area and they messed up an order we just placed via DoorDash. I called to tell them and I was tossed around from person to person and screamed at by this old guy who refused to accept that he had made a mistake. He was a vicious jerk to me and refused to take any responsibility for HIS MISTAKE!! The pictures I have include CLEARLY show the bread is toasted on my sub!!
We will NEVER return to this place! Also, I plan to make certain that none of my neighbors will ever return here either.
I cannot believe the complete lack of customer care or regard for the people who keep them in business!! I have never been treated so poorly by a local company!!

Ordered a pie plain half pepperoni well done. It came as ordered. It was cooked perfectly. No flop to the pizza with a really nice undercarriage on the crust. Even the pepperoni side that had half of the pizza with pepperoni grease had zero flop. Great taste on the sauce and the crust. Perfect amount of cheese as well. if I lived in Garfield, this would be my neighborhood pizzeria for my go to. Check out the videos to see how perfectly cooked the pizza looks with no flop.

Classic place for decades.Seriously the best tasting pizza aroundThe regular slice and Sicilian are pike 2 different worlds. Both amazing in their own category.Love this place.My only recommendation that is long overdue is the salad base needs not to be iceberg. They need spring mixed with arugula (have the shredded iceberg for the sandwich. If people want that still. It's there. But the salads need to be actual salad). That being said, the chicken for their salads is amazing. Also 5 stars. Love the cutlets!
Parking: Busy lot but lots of spots
Kid-friendliness: They are all dads and uncle's and sons in the place.
Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor. Ground level tables accommodate wheelchairs also

I heard about this spot on tik tok from a reviewer and had to try. You know when you look at a photo and get a craving just off the picture, that’s what I did for their Italian sub. And it tasted better than I envisioned. A big part of that is their amazing fresh bread! Good quality bread makes or breaks a good sandwich.The pizza is also great and I also ordered the tuna salad bowl…also better than expected.This may be my new sandwich shop! 10/10

Let me just start by stating I love the sandwiches at Rose’s and I will go back. I’m writing this review in hopes of the establishment seeing it and taking note. When I like a restaurant or any business I usually tell others about it. Today my husband mentioned he wanted tuna so immediately I thought of Roses. I usually order at work so he had never tried it. I ordered a tuna sandwich with cheese and extra mayo. I asked for the bread to be toasted and cheese melted. They toasted the entire sandwich. I was so excited for my husband to taste the sandwich. Not only did he not like it, the hot mayo sent him straight to the bathroom. And the other thing was the cheese. You make subs and you don’t have American cheese? In the future I will just order the sandwich with everything except cheese. Mayo in the oven is a no no.
