From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and excellent service that made us feel right at home. The best part? It's BYOB, so you can bring your favorite drinks to pair with the incredible food.

We kicked off our meal with the Mix Cold Appetizers, a delightful spread of hummus, baba ghanoush, spicy vegetables, grape leaves, labneh, tabbouleh, eggplant sauce, and tzatziki. Each dish was bursting with fresh flavors, making it the perfect introduction to the meal.

For the main course, my husband went for the Chicken Mixed Grill, which was nothing short of amazing. A delicious combination of chicken shish, chicken adana, chicken gyro, and chicken chops served with rice, tzatziki, grilled onions, peppers, and tomatoes. He described the chicken as incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection.

I opted for the Falafel Dinner, and it was simply divine. The falafel, made from a hearty mix of chickpeas, parsley, onions, celery, green peppers, garlic, and herbs, was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender inside. Served over a bed of hummus with tahini sauce, fresh lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, every bite was a burst of freshness and flavor.

Of course, no meal is complete without dessert. We shared a serving of Künefe, which was absolutely heavenly—shredded phyllo dough filled with sweet cheese, baked to golden perfection, and soaked in sugar syrup. The walnuts added the perfect crunch. My husband chose the Kazandibi, a rich, caramelized milk custard that was the perfect sweet finish to our meal.

Everything was fresh and flavorful. We were running late and they still served us and said they would stay open and take care of us. Very kind. Food was delicious! Recommend Lamb meatballs and small sampler platter, we will we back!

I moved to South Jersey a year ago and since have ordered from Bosphorus maybe 20+ times. I even had them cater a family reunion of ours. The food is consistently so fresh and delicious that all of our guests always ask where it’s from. They also are accommodating with menu changes and even when we dine in as a family, they are super kind. Our favorites are the chicken mixed grill, lamb mixed grill, spicy vegetables, hummus, kunefe and rice pudding!

Appetizer sampler platter was amazing. Felafel was the best ever. Cheese rolls were so good Wonderful stuffed grape leaves. Turkish coffee served in a beautiful tiny cup was delightful. I am so glad my friend recommended this place. Our server was terrific.

Everything we ordered was delicious and served piping hot! The cold app sampler is such a value and everyone in our party of 5 had a different favorite. The flavors on all of the dishes are nuanced. The rice is perfectly cooked and buttery. I just kept having “one more bite” of everything! My lamb gyro was so tasty, and a perfect meal on this chilly night. You HAVE to try this restaurant. Our kids love the chicken shish and the cheese rolls.

The restaurant is really pretty—the art on the wall is inviting and colorful! It’s very clean.

The service is very friendly and perfectly paced. We got our food quickly without feeling rushed a bit.

Bosphorus is the ONLY place our 13 year old son wanted to go for his birthday. We brought my mom who is a picky eater. It was her first time having Mediterranean food, and she loved it!

I’ve been here with some turkish friends today, Adana kebap in turkish bread was the best, and the lentil soup was very good(temembered me of home)The server was nice and very polite and he talked with them in turkish and his english was very good too.The atmosphere here is cosy and very friendly, I really recomand this place if you want a real authentic experience.

I would go out of my way to eat here. the falafel and cold appetizer platter were my favorites, but everything was delicious. The staff were amazing and able to answer any questions. Just all around great food and vibe.
