Two friends and I were headed out for some Indian food, but the Indian restaurant was closed, so one of the friends mentioned Tokyo Mandarin so we jumped on it. I was surprised how delicious the food was! Exquisitely prepared absolutely delicious, probably the best Chinese I've ever had!
I usually love all Tokyo mandarins but first time trying this location. I got a California roll and a spicy tuna. They were so disappointing I couldn’t eat more than two pieces of the tuna roll because it was so mushy and didn’t taste fresh. The California roll was 85% avocado and it was way over ripe all I could taste was old avo. The rice wasn’t sticky fresh. However, my egg drop soup was fantastic. Again, only my first time trying so it’s hard to say if i just got it...
The food was excellent, portions generous and the service prompt. There was a steady stream of customers. The scallion pancake is a must try appetizer. Would definitely visit again when in the area!.
