Turvino's Pizzeria & Restaurant in Glen Rock is a friendly and accommodating place with excellent service. They offer phenomenal dishes like chicken Caesar salad, white garlic pizza with eggplant, and tasty marsala. The pizza is a definite standout with perfect crust, sauce, and cheese. The restaurant is family and student-friendly, serving classic Italian American fare that is filling and delicious. The food is always hot and delicious. Turvino's is a great no frills local spot with delicious pizza, among the best. They start with making sure the basics are covered and that starts with their delicious sauce which makes their pasta and parm dishes top notch. The fried calamari was wonderfully tender and terrific. The gorgonzola walnut salad was delightfully tangy and very generous with the cheese. For dessert, there were pillowy, freshly made, beignet-like Zeppoles. They are a little smaller and lighter than classic Zeppoles tend to be. Much less greasy, but equally satisfying. The dining room has a very welcoming family feel and staff is very friendly. Parking: There are plenty of spots available.
