On a whim Googled "Mediterranean style food South Jersey" and up popped Ephesus Grill. Ordered the mixed grill for two and had no idea it would be served showmanship style with some hot pan cooking table side. Phenomenal and enough for four, IMO.

For the quality of food I will give it 5 stars, as well as for the service, restaurant renovation is really appealing.

We live very close by and decided to give it a try. The chicken kebabs were like rubber. Big thick chunks of rubbery chicken. Zucchini pancakes were sour/spoiled. The falafel was ok. Bland. Hummus was very good. The baklava was also quite good. We picked up for takeout and it was all young kids working. Not sure if that's the norm but the food was expensive and not worth it imo.

Wonderful place to have Turkish food particularly kebabs. We ordered Ephesus mix for 2. It was a big dish enough for two, the cook of lamb meat in front of you was amazing and produced lot of smoke. The server was great, warm friendly and helpful. Definitely will come again every time we pass by.

On our way from Atlantic City to Philadelphia we found this small treasure. If you love mediterranean or would love to try it, this is a place to enjoy it. Fresh, delicious and such kind and respectful service. Beautiful decor and very clean! The price was just right too!

Real authentic Turkish food. The chef is from Diyarbakir, and we found all food is authentic. Nothing changed in the recipes. They're all delicious. Acili Ezme is what my husband first tries to see how authentic the food is. They passed it! The servers are both very attentive. I noticed when a few groups left, they even removed the glasses not used. So they are spotless. I definitely recommend them.
Vegetarian options: Their rice was delicious, and it had chicken broth in it. This is how we mostly cook. I just want to point for vegetarians. It is better to confirm before ordering about butter and brothes.

Food was great! Amazing flavors and the service was prompt; waiters were very helpful and the restaurant in general has a very nice vibe to it. A little bit pricy but for the quantity of food (especially the lamb saute) it was worth it. Would definitely go again!

Not sure what happened. Ordered gyros here at least 2 or 3 times before and they were great. This time around ordered the same lamb gyro as I always get. The meat wasn't gyro, the tzatziki sauce was on the side and watery, completely missing onion, and since when are shredded carrots in a gyro?!?! Even our falafel order seemed weird; overcooked and had some grit crunching in my mouth (think eating sand). Really disappointed.
The staff was very nice and were willing to take photos for people. The food was delicious and worth the wait. The atmosphere was very calming. All in all, I have tried many mediterranean restaurants, but this place sticks out among the rest and is the best I have ever been to and deserves my five-star rating.
