“My first visit. Gyro gets a 5/5 star. Fried chicken gets 4.5/5. All my food was freshly prepared. Gyro was ready in 10 mins and chicken took 20 mins. Gentleman behind the counter was a sweet older fella. I’m eager to return. Come check them out. On my second visit, I had to get another Lamb Gyro Roll (delicious & a 5/5). I also tried a Seekh Kebab Roll and it was great at a 4.5/5. Cheese fries were a solid 4/5.”

“Worth the wait. This was our last Philly Michelin m-starred restaurant to try. It’s the absolute best. The food was extraordinary and I’m already dreaming of my next meal there. My particular favorites included the buckwheat tart with morels and both pasta courses (one was an add on). Sadly I will now never feel satiated unless I’m eating Chef Schulman’s triangoli. A beautiful and intimate space with incredible care by the entire staff. Amanda Schulman was incredibly welcoming and engaged with the diners. Wine pairing was outstanding as was my Negroni made with Bruto Americano. The marzipan rhubarb cake was the stuff dreams are made of. So, so, so happy after this meal. Did I mention? Attentive and wonderful, wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing evening!”

“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.”

“Not kidding. Our table of 4 ordered nearly everything in the menu. Each bite was delicious, balanced, nuanced, worldly, fresh, and inventive. We ordered a second dish of the carrots, and also the cukes. Dessert was outstanding. Interesting wines, including a chilled Croatian wine that paired well with every dish. Definitely returning. Soon! ❤️”

“Came here with my wife, and after we agreed Illata is one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Philadelphia. The food was creative, seasonal, fresh; the staff friendly and personal; and the intimate yet casual atmosphere made it feel like we were having an exclusive dinner-for-two. Highly recommend!”

“Riley K was the best server we’ve had at a restaurant in a while, we basically let him order for us and he hit it out of the park. It would be wise to request him if you can. His knowledge and passion for the food is exceptional. He certainly made the experience one to remember. The Dorade was amazing, the skirt steak also incredible. The brown sugar ice cream is 10/10. Not a single thing hit our table that we weren’t 100% impressed with. The after dinner drink he suggested was perfect. Monte negro or something I can’t remember but it’s wonderful. He will take care of you.”

“Imagine your best local authentic Mexican restaurant but elevate its atmosphere and execution. The tortillas are literally some of the best I have had, so soft and chewy with dimples of char. The proteins are marinated and grilled, with simple but bold flavors expressed in the lingering colors of the sauces. The Remolacha was the sleeper dish. The paste of nuts under the golden beats were a refreshing new type of dish I'd never seen in this type of cuisine. One caveat, the small room makes it quit loud so be prepared to do a little shouting.”
