In 1983 my husband and I were planning our wedding and we wanted carrot cake for our cake. We tried carrot cakes at many many bakeries in the Bergen county area and the best one, by far, was the carrot cake at B&W.

I now live in the Princeton area. My husband passed away in 2009 and I came back to B&W this weekend and bought a carrot cake and to my surprise, it's the same recipe. Fantastic. The best carrot cake on the planet.

I don’t usually go out of my way for dessert, but this time I actually drove over from New York just to try their tiramisu cake. It was light, not overly sweet, and tasted very balanced. The texture was great and it didn’t feel heavy at all. Worth the trip, and I’d definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

I ordered 2 Crumb cakes through Goldbelly, shipped to my house. First time ordering. Both cakes were extremely dry and tasted like flour. I'm pretty sure they forgot to add sugar, absolutely horrible tasting!

The Boston Cream Donut was really good. Soft donut, smooth cream filling, and just the right amount of chocolate on top.

Tried the Apple Horseshoe and really enjoyed it. The apples were fresh and not too sweet, and the pastry was soft and well-baked. Simple, classic, and very satisfying.

First time visiting B&W Bakery and tried their crumb cake—so glad I did. The crumb topping was generous and buttery, and the cake itself was soft and moist. A great first impression, I’ll definitely be back.

First time walked into this bakery and tried pecan cream ring. Love it. Soft, not overly sweet, with plenty of pecans and a creamy layer in the middle. Super fresh and perfect with coffee. Would definitely come back for this.

I was seeing a client, I wanted to bring something. I picked up a few Crumb Cakes. I forgot how good they were. This client is located West Jersey, all they have to do is google Best Crumb Cake and B&W comes up. The bag that came with the Crumb Cakes was top notch and looked totally impressive! My client was so excited with the bag too!! My new go to for Client Treats. Thank you

The crumb cake is a must-try — it stays incredibly fresh and tastes homemade in the best way. Perfect to bring home or share.

I highly recommend the beehive-cake. It tastes delicious and has a wonderful combination of textures, soft sponge cake, creamy filling, and the honey and almonds on top give it a crunchy touch.

listen, they have some good stuff in here BUTTTT , if you’re going specifically for cannoli’s … turn around and go else where. this place cant make a good connoli to save their lives. the fillin is just odd and its light and just doesnt taste how it should. i didnt like how the shell tasted either. 2.5/10 for the connoli in all honesty. i like the cake bites those are good but becareful its an overload of sugar dont eat more than 2

Long lines, clearly struggling with staffing. I’ve gone to this place for years and it is not the same anymore. On Sunday morning they had almost nothing left but the crumb cake. Cash only which to me is a hassle and not the case at other bakeries. They need staffing and quality/management improvements ASAP to bring it back to what it used to be. Living on the name of their crumb cake which is the only thing that’s consistent (if you like it)

I’ve been coming to B&W for years with no issues. My husband ordered a cake for my birthday a couple days in advance so it would be fresh. Instead, the cake was dry and grainy. It was like saw dust. I couldn’t believe they served that to us. It went in the trash. $35 down the drain. Never again.
