So excited to find that Bergen County has a great brunch spot like this! Charming, hip diner, nice staff, and a vast menu with lots of solid veg options. I enjoyed a refreshing non-alcoholic mango mojito with my hearty vegan breakfast platter. Can’t wait to return!

My first time eating here my children eat here from time to time I ordered a vegan smash burger w sweet potato fries when I got home and started to eat my burger it smelled like beef I had to call and confirm tht my burger was indeed vegan and not beef.. I told them it smelled like beef they told me “we kno but it’s not” I was asked “ are you sure” they said they were I never ordered a vegan burger and it smelled like beef tht was such a turn off.. I ate cause I trusted what they said but immediately started not to feel well and was back and forth to the bathroom.. I wouldn’t ever order from this place again

Ordered the double mash, pepperoni pizza, and French toast and they were all amazing. Definitely one of the best burgers and pizzas me and my family have ever eaten. And their mango mojito tasted amazing!

The food is normally amazing. Bit the last time the Rosemary potatoes fo the first time and they were way too salty. So this time I ordered the Brussel Sprouts which I've had before and they are insanely salty. It's like you're trying to give people high blood pressure.. my not be ordering from here again. VERY DISAPPOINTED
While in Hackensack for a few days my friend and I were searching for a dinner spot. I’m vegetarian/vegan and he’s not. We agreed on BITE and so glad we did. The menu is studded with enough vegan options I had a hard time deciding. I settled on the FA-WAFFLE and my dinner partner ordered a Nashville Chicken Sandwich. A “FA-WAFFLE” is falafel cooked on a waffle iron. Brilliant AND delicious. The waffle iron preparation eliminates added oil the usually frying would impart. The presentation was picturesque. Everything hot, fresh and thoughtfully prepared and served. By the time it had occurred to me to take a pic everything had been mostly consumed. My meal and the impression BITE made brought me back for a breakfast smoothie the following morning. Not disappointed a second time. The smoothie was on-point. Aside from the generous menu chocked with vegan/vegetarian/healthy options perhaps what I appreciated most as the availability of healthy choices. The menu hold plenty of variety from breakfasts, Roman flatbreads, sandwiches, smoothies, coffees/teas, etc. I wish BITE was closer to home but I will keep it top of my list next I’m in the area.

Underrated location for a great place! We were looking for a rest stop and it happens we bump into this location and give it a try. Wanted coffee but ended up having brunch. I was pretty surprised about the menu options. Exceeded my at the moment expectations. Atmosphere it’s great! And service very prompt.

I ordered togo for pickup. This was the first time I’ve ordered from them. I ordered two meals and they forgot to put one of the meal in a bag. I realized when i got home. I tried to call them and couldn’t reach them. I sent my husband to tell them about the situation. They didn’t apologize. They seemed didn’t care at all. My husband was upset cause his meal was missing.They said they’re going to refund his meal. I ordered two items and only received one. We will never go back there again.

I won’t lie the food here is pretty good but for the price and wait it’s just unreasonable. Today was the third time that I came here. The last two times the food was OK but the wait time was extremely long, but it was manageable. This never made sense to me because the restaurant is incredibly tiny and well staffed enough. To my surprise today, the menu had balloon to three times the size of last time I had to come and so had the wait times. When I arrived, the restaurant was relatively slow. Only seven parties were seated. My partner and I waited fifteen minutes without being acknowledged or even offered a water. The tables around us who had drinks were still waiting on food and we watched as a table to our left received their water just as we were leaving. We left the menus on the table and went to a different brunch spot. We wont be returning.

Came to pickup on my lunch break. I arrived 8 mins after pickup time and the food was still not ready. This was skeptical. Then they gave me the food which was smelling good until I opened it. The chicken was pink and not cooked well. This is terrible as I always have had good meals at bite but this could get me or someone else sick. Dont know if I can go back now.
