Came here (after a quick Google search for Kosher food) the morning after a wedding in the area. Best culinary decision I’ve made all year. They will make you anything you want (within reason) even if not on the menu. I grew up in Texas not keeping kosher, and have been craving good Mexican food - something not common in NYC or on the kosher restaurant circuit. I asked for a breakfast burrito with relatively low expectations, given the above. They knocked it out of the park....
I have gone several times and have enjoyed the food each time. I have a family member who is on a restricted diet (low sodium and low sugar) and the staff of the cafe was so understanding about this. Everything was delicious from the cheese quesadillas, frappes, and the vegan chicken caesar wraps. Everything tasted freshly made and flavorful. I highly recommend trying the Tres Leches cake for dessert.
We went yesterday to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and this Kosher dairy Mexican restaurant absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was authentic, fresh, and genuinely delicious — every dish felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and went out of his way to help make the celebration feel special.
