The last time I went, our waitress decided a personal phone call was more important than serving us. It was then covered by another server. I’m frankly shocked that this is allowed to happen in the workplace. The food was good, the second server was polite. However the first server who took her personal call asked why I didn’t tip her, and my answer was because she didn’t serve me. Please review workplace professionalism with this individual.

Came here for the nostalgia after a concert with some friends, about 10 of us rolled in around midnight, all former or current restaurant workers. From the jump it felt like the staff was not willing to accommodate such a large group due to the late hour, even though there were several tables eating when we arrived. The server was rude, told us we looked like clowns, told me my order was the weirdest thing hes ever heard of (a Ruben with an over easy egg- like corned beef hash and eggs but on a sandwich) then forgot our sodas- the rest of our group arrived and it just got stranger- he ignored all the men in our group, going so far to tell my friend that he didnt have gin on the rocks after telling us about the full bar, and refusing ti remove the sodas he forgot from the bill when we said we no longer wanted them. Refusing to wrap half an order of spinach dip for us once the entrees arrived. Now for the food. Grilled cardboard chicken for my friend- dry and flavorless, cold limp colorless fries and gloopy gravy for my husband's disco fries, my rueben was dry and lacking flavor. We wanted to end a fun night out with friends on a high note of nostalgia in a diner. What we got was a back rooms version of what used to be a diner. Then after all of that, my bill was 155 for 5 of us, with a cash tip ($30 or 20% even after being called clowns and insulted), my card was charged 160$ instead of 155. We will never be dining here again.

Easily one of the worst diners I've ever been to in New Jersey. It was OK for a 1AM snack after a night of drinking, but absolutely nothing more.

There are few dishes they make as advertised. More often the cooks interpret things. Trust me that whatever you think you are ordering, will present a surprise to you in some way. Salad bar is standard NJ diner fare.

Pasta was mush and cold after they gave us the wrong food twice. Very disappointed my meal was 26.00 and it was absolutely not worth it I am sorry I stopped here. Asked for a pastrami sandwich got a Reuben . At least fries were good …
Server was great ,not a typical diner (in my mind). Food was good , portions were large but not real tasty. Food was served as ordered and correctly

Decent food and go-to stop late night but only thing is the wait staff could be a little more attentive. Handicap parking far away from the entrance.
Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult to get to the entrance from the handicap area, a little far away.

This is a nice large diner right off Rt 4 across the street from the mall. Been here several time and overall service, food selection, and quality is good. I enjoy dining here but noticed something on the receipt as I was getting ready to throw it out.
I left a cash 20% tip for our nice waiter but noticed there was 3% "non"? What the heck is 3% non fee? I find it REDICULOUS so please comment below what that is for everyone to see.
