The traditional Italian sub ("#1") was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub (hot prosciutto) might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.

This is your local, authentic Italian Deli with zero frills (don’t plan to eat inside, takeout only/cash only) but the best sandwich you will eat in North Jersey! I ordered a number 5 for a party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was asking where it was from. I highly recommend #1 for meat lovers, number #8 if you like turkey. Can’t go wrong with any. Trust me…delicious!!

My brother loves this place, so I definitely wanted to try it out. I got the eggplant parm and it was delicious the hype is real. Only knock was that the sandwich wasn’t that warm and the bread had a slight little pull. Definitely going back to try other sandwiches. Service was amazing as well!
