The traditional Italian sub ("#1") was reviewed as the best sub in New Jersey, and I completely agree, except for the fact that their #4 sub (hot prosciutto) might be even better. The folks there are already. Be aware, cash only. There is a small parking lot behind the building with a very narrow driveway and an onto Fairmount St, so maybe it's better to come in from that direction.
This is your local, authentic Italian Deli with zero frills (don’t plan to eat inside, takeout only/cash only) but the best sandwich you will eat in North Jersey! I ordered a number 5 for a party and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was asking where it was from. I highly recommend #1 for meat lovers, number #8 if you like turkey. Can’t go wrong with any. Trust me…delicious!!
AHHHHH!!! The absolute best sandwich I’ve had, since I last came here. The bread, the bread!!! The fresh mozzarella!! The freshly cut meats! The service and real conversation!! Old world charm- NJ style! Can’t wait to return. We had the number one
