Cousin Deli and convenience store

I tried this place for lunch and the sandwhiches here are great, fresh bread, well-dressed and cooked Halal meats... << It is so hard to find places that only serves Halal meats in Hackensack.

This place is truely a hidden gem in Hackensack for a quick bite for lunch. I will be coming here more often for lunch, as I would like to try other items on their menu.

This is hands-down the best bodega experience you will ever have, and it all comes down to two things: phenomenal food and incredible people.

Let’s talk about the stars of the show: The Chicken Over Rice and the Chicken Cutlet. These aren't just deli staples; they are legendary. The chicken cutlet is perfectly breaded, crisp, and juicy every single time, whether you get it on a fresh hero or enjoy it solo. And the chicken over rice? Forget about it. It’s comforting, perfectly seasoned, and the white sauce ratio is immaculate. I literally crave it.

Ordered a chopped cheese and waited literally 15 mins inside the store for it , to get to my car and it’s cold !!!!!! Took him 15 mins to make it and it’s cold and nasty ! Worse experience ever . Totally disgusted

I go there very often for lunch, and I have never been disappointed. Everything taste amazing, love the chicken cutlet wrap, chopped cheese, and today I tried the chicken over rice. Amazing! Plus the guys are super nice and prices are pretty good. My co-workers tried the wings and breakfast sandwiches and say the taste is excellent. I will definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed either!

They got good food and a wide variety of snacks for decent prices. If u need a convenience store to go to to get food without getting ripped off then this is the place. For real, don't goto 711 n pay their ridiculous prices, u can get everything u need here instead without getting robbed.
