Nice, cute little place along the tracks. Pleasant & fast service. Food was okay but pretty ordinary.Vegetarian options: I wouldn't, I'm not a vegetarian. I just know they have a lot of choices.Kid-friendliness: Typical diner, accommodates childrenIt's a homey atmosphere they might like.

I NEVER LEAVE A BAD REVIEW, BUT THIS PLACE WAS CRAP. Deserves no star .The waiter was nice (thats it).i should’ve known when they had bowls on the tables, catching the rainwater from the leaky ceiling but Ididn’t notice that until after I ordered. That aside, I could’ve ignored the dripping noises and the spatter sounds if the food was good, but they couldn’t even make sausage bacon and eggs Good. The time before I went in there the power went off and They couldn’t serve us because they had to wait the fire department.I grew up around here, and I’ve always known the Fairmount was low, but even for the Fairmount diner this was low..Make sure you have all your shots up-to-date before you go here.

Love this place. Do most of my ordering through Door Dash and have never been disappointed or received an incorrect order. Love, love, love their breakfast menu! Who wants to time and hassle of making a big Sunday breakfast when Fairmount Eats will do it for you!❤️?

Food is expensive and always a disappointment. I tried so many things, kept giving them chances, but I did not come across one thing that was even average, not to mention good. They need to make their menu smaller and focus on improving the quality of what they offer.

Want a quick bite to eat with your friends? Stop on by. The parking lot is usually full, but if you wait a minute, something always opens up. That should also tell you that the folks of hackensack know a good thing when they see it. So why don't you come on by and check it out?

Tried their split pea soup as a lunch special, and was impressed. It was great!Decided to order again, but would not recommend their other soups such as chicken pasta, or cream of potato... I did not get a chance to try the lobster bisque as there was a miscommunication, and subsequent mistake with my order.Manager Ahmed was not particularly friendly, but did offer to make things right.

Went there for lunch today with my co-workers. We sat for more than 20 minutes waiting for our order get taken. Left because we didn’t more time to sit and wait. Horrible service!

came in for the first time today with my mom and toddler for lunch. we had such a great experience!! i have a very active, chatty two year old and our waiter, who goes by “Q”, was AMAZING with him!! Q went out of his way to stop at our table and talk to him as he was waving pretty frequently, and gave him all different colored pens out of his apron and some paper to color on. Then we got our food which was amazing!! great portions and fantastic flavor! and once again, Q was super accommodating, grabbing us everything we needed to make our meal enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and will definitely return!! Q, your excellent service was so appreciated- thank you!!!

After many attempts, at different times, I made it here today for breakfast! It was superb - freshly made!!! I had the Derrick's Special, my nephew had the Philly Cheesesteak, and my sister had the wrap in spinach ? ? ?... coffee was great, too! A nice corner spot... attentive servers and busboy... plus, clean bathroom!Thank you, Jillian (young man with eyeglasses) - prompt service!

The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all amazing. The food was made to order. I know I can be a hard customer with my specific instructions, but they hit every mark perfectly. Also, if you ever get the chance come by and ask for Quentin (he also goes by “Q”). P.S. You can’t miss him — he’s got every color pen on his apron :)

You are not going to find better service anywhere. FE has and retains the friendliest staff.The menu will take a good year to read through. It's very hard to make a decision with so many delicious options (at a great price point to boot!)Outdoor dining on a nice day is pleasant even on a well-traveled road like main street.There is always a steady stream of customers, including the boys in blue who always share a smile and a quick chat while they wait for their "to go" order...this is real neighborhood gem!Vegetarian options: This place has plenty of bacon for carnivores, but it's nice to have so many veggie-friendly options as well!Parking: Side lot rarely fills up...but if it does, street parking is easy and free.

Less then 10 people already seated and 8 of them were already served and it still took almost 15 to get my food. Pathetic. 3 eggs over easy with home fries and bacon. They were more concerned with the to go orders for door dash then actual people in their restaurant. The home fries were barely warm while the bacon was hot. Never again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered chicken and waffles but was given honey mustard...no butter or syrup with waffles?? LOL They refused responsibility but door dash gave me a full refund, hope the restaurant lost that money. I tried to be nice, but the manager kept talking over me and wouldn't listen to what I had to say. I got mad and cursed on the phone. But they cursed right back which was funny. There's many better options for food nearby to give the business to.You said I didn't order correctly but you're wrong. I didn't order honey mustard but you gave it with the order anyways. So what you said about "no condiments on the receipt" makes no sense, the honey mustard I got is a condiment... If someone orders waffles, common sense would say they should get butter and syrup. You're mistake.You should have just apologized , "sorry we forgot your butter and syrup, whoops!" Then we could have moved on. Could have been so simple. But your first reaction to my phone call made for a horrible experience.Either way, I got my full refund for your mistake :-D
