Let's start with the good...the restaurant is clean. The food is cooked properly and tastes as advertised. I wanted to try the hot & spicy wings to compare to the ghost pepper wings offered at Popeye's (which I looove...). The wings are hot & spicy, but it kinda overwhelms the actual flavor of the chicken, as opposed to complementing it. It tastes over seasoned. I'll give them another shot on a future visit to a DIFFERENT KFC. Now...the Bad. My wife ordered our food at the kiosk, walk to the counter...and wait. No one is there. Several other customers order and now there's a group of us waiting. No one greets us or acknowledges our presence. After a few minutes, the person covering the front comes out with our order, places it on the counter and does a javelin throw with the flatware into our bag. He also gives me the wrong size drink, no dips, etc. I also ordered a 5 pc nuggets. I open the box and it looks like the remnants and scraps from a bag of nuggets. Comparing these with McNuggets, Wendy's Nuggets, or my favorite, Chick-fil-A nuggets, these fall woefully short of offering much chicken content, not worth the $4 price tag. Anyway, there's too many other fast food places in the area to deal with the level of service we received.

So today I went to KFC in hackensack around 5:40 pm and used the kiosk to order. I modified my order and added extra cheese, extra gravy as well as extra sweet corn. As I received my food I noticed I didn't receive the extra modifications I initially ordered. I went and tried to speak to the manager Alejandra and explain my issues, but instead she gave me a hard time and didn't even acknowledge my concerns. Stating " you didn't pay for extra corn" I then showed her the receipt where it stated extra corn and still nothing. She proceeded to become nasty with me, I then requested a refund. We love KFC. I was looking forward to having my favorite "the famous bowl" but she ruined it for me. KFC is my favorite place in the world and instead of her making it right she decided to argue with me. I explained my modified order and showed her the receipt but she continue to argue with me causing me to get upset and walk out . Alejandra you are nasty and I hope you do not treat people like this because you do not know what people may be going through. I deserve to get what I paid for , instead of deescalating the situation you kept adding fuel to the fire. Over corn? I would like someone to contact me please... Horrible Service if you ask me !

Avoid this place. Employees are terrible. Food is sub par for the price. The place always looks like it's in shambles. The Spicy Chicken sandwich is a joke. Tenders are small and thin. If you're in the mood for chicken, Dave's Hot Chicken and Fluffies Hot Chicken are light years ahead of this old timey dump of a fast food restaurant.

This kfc is a f***ing dump this is one outta 4 kfc I went and this one is a disgusting tie with maybe 3 of them chicken so damn dry no taste or flavor at all what happened to the 7 herbs and spices totally disgusting,and a waist of my money never again if I could give this dump zero stars I would give a negative zero so nasty don't waist your time or money here complete rip off Smfh and it's disgusting

Don't dare order a takeout meal cause you'll never get everything you paid for they sent me home eight pieces short on my bucket and when I called them up to let them know they told me that it looks like they put all of your pieces in by the camera so we won't do anything for you enjoy in the meantime they probably just refunded my Sal put in a sale for the less amount and kept the difference they are thieves

The employees in this location has no care regarding the business I don't bash no business as a business owner myself but management has to step in and make a few changes regarding the food and employees we all know KFC always has standards but if management can manage employees and food protocols with production and making sure that quality standards food selling must be eatable along with quality control. Sorry but is not the employees or the food is management they have control of everything and this is what happens when management or no corporate are not doing there jobs. If production is manage the right way the food that comes out should value its prices

KFC in the plaza with the ShopRite, they were quick at the drive thru and prices have gone up (fill up box moved from $5 to $6.75 with tax) and the chicken, though the same great flavor, was smaller than ever.... New fryers and chickens have less steroids and antibiotics perhaps? Anyway, expect to order double the chicken to get the same amount of meat now... Sigh. At least it was hot and nothing was missing

I don't know but other than their spicy chicken sandwich I feel Popeyes whole menu is overpriced and not as good as it used to be especially that joke promo they had of the ghost pepper wings, a total ripoff. I went the other day to KFC in Hackensack and haven't had KFC in years. But honestly it was very good. The sides especially put Popeyes to shame in size and taste as well as the biscuits much better. I felt the chicken was on par to Popeyes but Popeyes is a little better but not for the price they charge. The company that owns them owns Burger King too. So that tells you both restaurants are more expensive than their worth. So that tells you all you need to know.Plus I like the way they give you the food in a contactless way through the drive thru at KFC.
I was finally able to get to this KFC about an hour before they closed. The last time I went to the KFC in Teaneck (did a review), and it was an awful experience. I was a bit nervous about going to the Hackensack one so close to closing time; when I went to Teaneck, the food was bone dry and disgusting probably because it was sitting under a heat lamp for Lord only knows how long. Anyway, I ordered my food, and customer service was pleasant. Got to the window, and the staff had on masks and gloves. Got home and ate. I'm happy to report that the chicken and sides tasted very fresh, moist and flavorful.
