The food is delicious and generous helping. I just finished my sancocho and pernil with rice and red beans. Better value than the McDonald's across the street. The ladies behind the counter were efficient and kind.
I came in as a normal customer, I showered in my room, and decided to have a drink at noche
Some one said that I smelled, but I know it's my tattoos that makes everyone uncomfortable
I have on my right hand RESPECT
On my left HONOR
But to my country of Ukrain 🇺🇦
I am not trying to offend anyone

I always went over here to buy some relleno de papa that I love but very dissapointed went to pay my food and they told me that my 20 dollar bill is fake how iset fake if I took it from the bank next door on atm so I ask them if they wanted me to give another 20 dollar bill they said yes so I did I’m very dissapointed I shouldn’t not give them the another 20 dollar bill so they call the police so the cop will let them know that the bill is real and what they did is very wrong that is a big judgment never going again these places like this have to be professional very dissapointed
This is my around the way go to spot for Spanish food! Empanadas, Pernil, breads, sancocho, (but not every day) damn near everything and EVERYTHING is good!

You would never expect some really good food from the exterior look. It not a restaurant but a grocery store that sell prep food dishes. Food is made fresh daily. Friendly service. Some minimal seating for quick eats for locals lunch time. Parking is limited in the back. For the price of a processed value meal across the fast food place, I rather get some freshly cooked home style flavorful Latin food.

Decent food and service.
Stopped in for a snack while waiting for the train (it’s right by Essex Street Station). The maduros were some of the best plantains I’ve ever had. The empanada and Arepitas de Maíz were also pretty good.
Ridiculously expensive-one order rice and pollo guisado $20 insane! Parking is horrible. Need to fix or put lines down
The supermarket is very good for getting Colombian products that you can't get anywhere. However, on certain occasions I have asked to take away empanadas, buñuelos, and things like that for "breakfast." Several times fast foods have turned out tasteless. On the last occasion the empanadas were not cooked properly and the meat showed a raw pink tone. When we returned the woman told us that the empanadas were like this. We ended up buying more chicken empanadas and they were still tasteless!!! I am very sorry for the poor rating since I have visited the place several times, the quality of the food has really changed.
