I had the sopa de fideo y pollo and it was very good. Going back to try more stuff because it was not overseasoned and there are so many options. Plus it was super clean in here. People are so sensitive nowadays so if you’re looking for that yt customer service, you won’t get that here but they were friendly enough.

I had a terrible experience at this place. I decided to change my order while they were preparing it, and the woman at the front counter rolled her eyes at me. To make things worse, I overheard people in the back making rude comments. The lack of professionalism and customer service was really disappointing. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

I work in the hospital I came here on my break to try the food out I am Dominican and love my country’s food. However, this place I would not recommended my first experience here was not the greatest. The malanga I got along with some chicken guisado was nasty. The malanga was not cooked fully and I ordered a chinola juice that had a fly in it ! The woman that took my order did not even notice until I told her excuse me, there’s a fly in my drink ?? Didn’t get a discount nothing. Would not recommend.

SUPER SUPER BAD
I ORDERED CHICHARRON WITH YUMA AND COUNTED ONLY 3 PEDASOSVTENIAN MEAT THE REST WAS JUST SUPER UGLY FAT AND I ORDERED TWO POUNDS!!! VERY BAD

This restaurant had very good food, but apparently they changed the cook, since the last times I have ordered, the taste is totally different, if not horrible, today I gave it a chance to see if it had already improved, since in the Previously I couldn't eat anything, the meat, rice and beans were bad, (today) I received some beans without the grains, just liquid and smoked, the smell was very strong and tasted bad, the rice was hard. I called to notify them and they only told me “I'll tell the cook.” I will never order here again.

The service is super good but the rice is very hard and looks like the day before. 5 dollars for a 2 liter coke. Super expensive

I had a coupon to try this restaurant , which is a store front with parking on the side streets. The food was in metal dishes probably laying around all day but I ordered other dishes from the kitchen. When I went to pay with the coupon they said they were no longer the owners that gave the coupon out and that their name was Tu Cocina. However, the telephone number was the same as La Cocina and the sign on the awning said La Cocina. Even though it was a nice order, over the value of the coupon , they would not honor it. It is their loss as I walked out and they have now lost a customer.

Attention is good, but the food is horrible, if you want a bad food experience, then this is your place!!! I don't understand how they have a restaurant!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THIS PLACE WAS BOUGHT BY THE OWNWRS OFTU COCINA ON ANDERSON ST. Horrible food. Hard cold food. The previous owners was so much better. Such a shame !
