I catered my daughter's birthday with food from Old San Juan, and it was a hit!! Everyone loved the food, and they came back for seconds, some even thirds. I'm so happy I was able to make everyone's day. We had baked chicken, rice and peas, and their avocado salad with sweet plantains. If you've never been to this restaurant, please check them out they have some really delicious food!!! I'm always stopping in for takeout, too!!

They must've changed owners or chefs. I've always gotten good flavorful food from here..last night I ordered $75 worth of for my me and my family. I ordered 2 hours before closing so there was no excuse for what I received. It looks like they rushed to put food together. Everything is still untouched. Habichuelas tasted like NOTHING and weren't fully cooked. Beef stew was flavorless and dry, with no gravy in the plate. The Mofongo was completely flavorless not even salt.. EVERYTHING was dry and flavorless. The ONE flavor that was very distinct was FISH. We did not order anything with fish or seafood because we don't eat it. Yet everything I tasted had a horrible fishy taste to it. Thats called cross contamination.

They're very cheap with the food. The Cuban sandwich has no meat. The woman who took care of us was greedy. The empanada was cheap and it's very expensive and the music is too loud

I ordered takeout and the food was delicious . I ordered pernil and the arroz con gandules with 2 empanadas.
The arroz con gandules tasted very good . made perfectly and flavorful and moist.
The pernil was also moist and tender and flavorful.
The empanadas were a little hard or left in the fryer to long, but still tasted good
i would order again.

I ordered through Uber eats therefore I didn't visit the restaurant. I rated it by the food taste. I'm so disappointed to say that the food had no flavor whatsoever!. I ordered the "chicharon de pollo" the "white rice" tasted as it was 2 days old, the chicharon de pollo tasted pre heated not fresh and the beans no flavor. The empanas were good and the coconut was okay.

The woman who always take care of me are great. Today gentlemen took my order and charged me $4 dollars for 2 smaller dipping sauces. I don’t mind supporting a small business; but I also don’t like being taken advantage of. The rice was old hard and uncleaned. Disgusting to pay top dollar for mediocre food and service today.

Ordered to take out. Woman at the counter was not polite nor friendly. Very rude. Was looking for some good Puerto Rican food and was disappointed with the service. Food not the greatest. Should of found a better place. Spent too much for little food. Dont recommend.

Good fresh food. The alcapurrias were on the very greasy side but then again, they usually are everywhere else that you can get them from. Pernil was super fresh and juicy. Rice was very good and beans were good too. I'm definitely going back again and trying some more from their menu!
