Ok soul food, but not great. First time there was amazing, after that the the portions got smaller, and the seasoning changed. I done think I will go back, the owner is not the friendliest in fact she's down right rude and bad attitude. I visited Paula’s several times and and each and every time her attitude is cold and disconnected from customers. Waste your money if you want to, she won't be getting mine any longer.

I see Paula’s every week when I go to Hackensack but never went. I FINALLY went this weekend and it is amazing! All the meats we ordered were tender and juicy, the mac and cheese is to DIE for, the fried okra was delicious. It’s also very clean. Heading back this week! You won’t be disappointed!

just picked up whiting dinner from Paula's. Fish is luke warm, feels like I'm chewing rubber bands and taste like nothing, not even FISH! Cabbage and yams are good, guess that's my dinner!

AMAZING ! Love this place. Food is great and everyone who works there. Amazing vibes treats everyone as if they were family. Banana pudding and carrot cake is to die for :) Highly recommend this restaurant. You will not leave disappointed
Food was amazing and never can go wrong with the fried fish whichever one you want to eat. I personally got the cat fish with Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was delicious and had no aftertaste. Slightly pricey but they do you justice for what you pay. Good service it’s just a lot going on for them personally there trying to help everyone so just be patient. But good people and are trying their best to get everyone what they want. They also had a kids menu for my son and was very nice to him. I paid about $30 for myself including my son’s food. Black owned also
