This past August, I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Sidebar. I made all my arrangements with Danny. It was a pleasure to work with him. Everything turned out great. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the waiters and waitresses were very accommodating. Everyone had a great time. Don’t hesitate to have an event here!

Just went here for some live music and bar eats. Love the Musket Haze beer from Hackensack brewing so them having this on tap is a huge plus. I recommend the crispy chicken Sandwich with spicy mayo or crab cake special. My lady loves the Mexican fizz cocktail and wings. Bartending staff, specifically Ryan, is excellent. Definitely recommend!

Such a good vibe! Went in for a date night with my boyfriend and had such a good experience from the food to the service. We had the crispy chicken sandwich and crab cake special. I had the Mexican Fizz cocktail and my boyfriend had the Musket haze beer from Hackensack brewing. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks

Sidebar is the best bar in Hackensack! Good food, good drinks, and amazing staff - especially Jojo the bartender. This place is like my second home and I always enjoy stopping by to catch up with friends.

I’ve been going to Sidebar for about 3 years now and never had one complaint. Food is amazing, staff is great, drinks are great. It’s a very community friendly bar it’s basically home at this point lol 11/10 recommend!!

Sharing this today because I feel like I paid so much for the food, and I'd say it was not worth it at all, maybe I went at a bad time, but service was sloppy, the one cocktail I had was nice and the green monster sandwich was good but 21$ for it was not worth it at all!. Bill for 2 came out to 97$ with 2 cocktails , 2 entrees & dessert, for that price you'd be expect higher quality, but not with this place. My server was also not attentive at all, I wouldnt recommend this place for food at all, but maybe that's my own fault for thinking a bar could serve decent food.
I had this server Victoria she was so amazing. Got me my food on time and drinks. She did seem a little sad, not sure why but pretty decent server.

Wings were great! Burgers are tasty would’ve preferred a different kind of fries with my burger. Ordered blackened Salmon a bit bland. Drinks are strong and i recommend the Pineapple Express. Definitely not wheelchair accessible.
