Long wait, unfriendly staff, and confusing communication at the counter.
The store wasn’t even busy, which made it more frustrating.
As someone who has gone to Starbucks for decades, this was easily ranks as one of my worst visit - maybe only topped by my last visit here a week ago when it was really busy. :(

I went to Hackensack Starbucks drive thru when I was paying, the cashier in drive thru say to me the machine is asking you a question and it was asking for a TIP? Are you kidding me? I’m tipping you for going to work today? A tip for you giving me my food? Is drive thru? Starbucks should be ashamed for adding that in drive thru!

I came here many times and I purchased an card Starbucks. Last time they have just scanned the card and I have got my coffee, this time this very rude young person at the desk humiliated me in front of people telling that he could not scan this card from my phone because I could have stolen that card for using for a coffee, can you believe it? And I had to come with a printed paper to show that a card of 10 usd was actually purchased by me. Now you tell me, every body goes there with a printed paper for ab amount of 10 usd? And how you can offend me that I can't even afford a 10 usd card?
I tried to give you a full explanation about what happened to the website you gave me but that is not working for complains so next time don't pretend you really care about what customers had to say, moreover I think I was also racial targeted because I had an accent while those ones who did not have accent could just show their phones and being scanned without any problems!

I came here quick to get a shaken espresso and finally use my christmas gift card. The cashier was so sweet and had a super cute cat hat! I got my drink and as I was walking to my job I realized someone drew an adorable puppy on my cup! 🥺❤

It really made my day. Thanks so much. Really kind workers here! 🥺💞💞
