The place felt super clean. The pizza and the coconut craze smoothie were good.

This place was great, if you look at my profile it may see like I only leave good reviews but it’s because I usually only review if the place stood out and this place is one of them. Such a fun a delicious new twist on Indian food. The quality and quantity of the food was great for the price and their homemade mango lassi is delicious. Also got to speak with the owner briefly and he was very friendly. If you are craving Indian but want to try something a little different I would definitely check this place out

Amazing place, food is tasty and doesn’t have a cheap flavor to it. The owner and workers are very friendly. Definitely a top tier late night, calm vibes, and relaxed spot to go to.

Tikka Shack in Hackensack was an accidental find, but an absolutely delightful one. The food is authentic and delicious. We tried the vegetarian options — Veg Biryani Rice Bowl, Paneer Wrap, Veg Cutlet, and Samosa — and each item had its own unique and distinct flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. A must-recommend spot! We’ll definitely be returning to try the non-veg options next time.

Very clean and welcoming. The staff even took time to explain the whole menu in detail. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to ANYONE. 10/10 service experience and food.

Not bad - it definitely hits the spot and has a great price point for a rather large meal. It doesn’t deliver the best (always cold/cheap containers), but for pick up or eating in, it’s a great option when you’re craving Indian.

Just ok. The masala fries not good because its soaked in gravy. The tikka roll had different temperature on each side. Overall food is ok.

Been waiting to try Tikka Shack and boy, we were not disappointed! Thrilled to know they are open till 11 pm and that we can now get authentic Indian food after 9:30pm without having to travel all the way to Edison.
First, the service was outstanding! Ahmed took our order and explained our options suggesting dishes and drinks. He shared a $2 off discount special for the Shrimp Coconut Curry tacos which by the way were AH MAA ZING! ...By far the Best shrimp tacos I have ever eaten! 💯
The food was flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. 🔥😋
We LOVE Indian food and tend to get really excited when ordering.
We had the Street Style Chaat,👍 Shrimp Coconut Curry Tacos, 👍Spinach Masala, 👍Malai Kofta, 👍Garlic Naan and 👍Tiramisu for dessert! 😜
👉Already looking forward to our next visit! 💯
Definitely give this new spot a try.

We catered from Tilka Shack for a party of 25. The cutlets was a hit among kids and adults, and the Methi Malai and Pizzas liked by all. I personally loved the southern Curry that was spicy enough for me, while a couple find it a little spicier than they would like. Combined with the rice or Nan, southern curry is it for me! Love the food. Amit, the owner was super helpful along with his staff and delivery was on the dot and nominal. Cheers!

First time trying Indian food , place was so nice inside. I ordered butter masala, and basmati rice. And also garlic naan. It was good for first try but I felt like the chicken was missing something, but overall not disappointed.

I ordered for pickup, and the food was ready on time with updates received on my phone. The lady at the counter confirmed my order when I arrived, which was great.
Food: The best way to describe it is that it felt similar to getting food from Cava (don't know exactly how to explain it).
I ordered wings, a butter chicken taco, and biryani rice.
- Wings: Decent. Not overcooked or overly fried, which I prefer, though the seasoning didn’t really stand out.
- Butter chicken taco: Interesting, but not something I’d immediately want another of. One was fair.
- Biryani rice: Came in a generous portion, which I liked, and I enjoyed it more than the wings or taco. A side of vindaloo sauce (if available) would probably make it even better.
Pricing was reasonable.
A good spot when you want to try something new. The area is safe too.
