Tons of plant based options, amazing elixir like teas and drinks! Will def be back to try more. Very friendly staff and felt it was a super find in New Jersey! Being vegan 25 yrs this was my first time trying ricotta:)

Great place to get healthy food. Wait staff are always beyond friendly. Only complaint is it is always cold. Bring a sweater even in the summer

There was literally no one else in the restaurant yet it took us 40 minutes to get food never offered us bread. Had to keep asking for a water refill when they could've left the bottle on the table. The pizzas were stale and cold. Chicken farm was overcooked portions are extremely small for what they charge. The two people who ordered burgers said they were very good.

We had a horrible experience at the True Food Kitchen in Hackensack. Our server was lovely, although barely attentive. The place was maybe 25% full, but service was horrible. The food arrived cold and over cooked, what a combination! They won't see us again.

For the first time I was disappointed with the food. The lunch trio, although a good price didn't cut it for me. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing ☹️

True Food Kitchen is my favorite “Go To” spot!
The fresh organic food is flavorful and the atmosphere is bright and airy. They always have delightful vegan options on the menu too. This is a dream come true for me. It seriously feels like a much healthier version of eating out, one that you can feel good about!
I was there 2 times this week. On my last visit, our waiter Kevin worked very hard to ensure that our meal & dining experience was fantastic! We are grateful for this.

The All-American Burger* was well made, except that it was too salty. I don't know if it's the sauce or the seasoning of the patty. The Kale Salad that came with it has a vinaigrette dressing that was disturbingly sour, it's the first time I've tried a vinaigrette that was too sour, and imagine having parmesan with it so it was like salt and vinegar chips. Thank God the Strawberry Passion Fruit Tart, V GF is divine.
Place looks chic but I didn’t dine inside, used Door Dash pick up instead.

We really enjoyed our time at True Food Kitchen! Jordan was kind, friendly, and timely. The Korean glass noodles and grass-fed burger were excellent, and the Bright Eyes drink was a favorite. Love how fresh and organic everything is. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Placed an order to go and found about 20 bugs in the vegetables with hummus

I’ve only ordered from here twice, and both times uber eats, but I love it! Food is super fresh and tasty! I love the pesto pasta with blackened shrimp. Looking forward to eating in and trying different items!
