Stopped on a whim coming through town. Was SO glad we did! Server was beyond prompt and working his tail off. Food arrived quickly and the portions were huge! Was able to take a doggie bag that was our next meal. We were out the door for $30 which included a respectable tip. He had the broccoli beef plate, I had the beef lo mein. We split a cup of egg drop soup. Highly recommend!

Had the Sweet & Sour Chicken and Chicken & Broccoli house specials. Both were great. The low ratings for Service and Atmosphere are because of the following: I called in my order, was told 10 minutes and it wasn’t ready for 35 minutes, and I wasn’t alone in having to wait.

China Garden is our go to for Chinese takeout. My favorite is the hot and sour soup, the ingredients are fresh and the spice is spot on. Been a customer for 7 years now and not once were we disappointed with a dish. The servings are huge and everything is absolutely delicious!

Used to be excellent few years ago but food got worse and stopped going there. Gave them another try and now it's good again. I'm assuming this joint goes thru alot of ownership changes or something. Great fried chicken wings

Parking: Because they share a parking lot with other stores it can be difficult to get a spot. Just lock your car door because of a lot of unwanted foot traffic

For anyone who eats Chinese food as frequently as I do, you'll look for a better place. That said, I've been to all the local Chinese restaurants in the Long Valley/Hackettstown areas; except for Little Tokyo on Mountain Ave., Hackettstown, and I would consider myself a great judge of good food especially Chinese and Italian.
Parking: The parking lot is part of the strip mall that has retailers; including Shop-Rite, Chinese restaurant, pizzeria, and dollar store of some sort.
