“Been going for 20 years. Tonight, went with friends to celebrate a birthday. Service was horrible. Waited 1 hour for food. Finally came and everything was ice cold. Told waitress food is cold. Manager came over and apologized. Told us he will make all new dishes. We waited another 20 minutes and food came back. Was not new dishes but our old dishes of food that was reheated in microwaves. Food was Luke warm. Shrimp, filet mignon, chicken and lobster were like eating rubber. Never brought us our additional drinks and sauces for our meals. Ultimately, Fuji should be embarrassed for reheating our food in microwaves. Very expensive and the food and service was terrible. How can you reheat expensive filet mignon, shrimp, chicken and lobster in microwaves? You should be embarassed and ashamed for what you did. That is not how you treat customers. Never going back.”

“As a lifelong Hackettstown resident, Prontos is in my opinion the most consistent pizzeria in town. Mamma’s when they’re on their A game is probably the overall best but on their off nights, their pizza can be a floppy and sloppy mess. I never have that problem with Pronto’s, and while I like Mamma’s sweeter sauce, Pronto’s is definitely not a downgrade in terms of quality ingredients and an upgrade in consistency. Margarita, bruschetta, and plain slices always hit the spot, their buffalo chicken pizza is one of the best around. Good pasta dishes too, and they’re run by people who I want to say are Albanian or maybe from some other Bulkan country, so I’ve had the chance to try something called a Cevapi (kind of reminds me of a Greek Gyro or Turkish Doner Kebab taste wise, but shaped like sausage instead of sliced or carved strips) which is delicious.”

“The cheese empanadas are full of Colombian white cheese, delicious. The Colombian empanadas are amazing a great idea to bring to gathering or for any party. They are very friendly and will make them fresh for you if you call ahead and request them freshly fried. They have really good fried sweet platains ( yellow platains)”

“Wow! Used Stella G’s as my wedding caterer, and was absolutely blown away. The food was AMAZING. We were nervous about how the food would be but my husband and I were shocked by how delicious it was and the guests kept complimenting it was as well. The restaurant is family run and the owners did everything to make sure it was a hit. From initial emails, phone calls, questions, and menu selection they went above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how each bite of food we had was better than the last. They out did themselves on taste, presentation, professionalism, and courtesy. I will only use them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs an event catered. Thank you for making our night a success!!!”

“Typical atmosphere for a mostly take out restaurant. They do have a couple of tables so you can eat in. We stopped for a quick lunch and were not disappointed! We were able to get a table and sat in for our meal. The woman at the counter was super nice and friendly. She brought our food to us when it was done.We ordered the fried pork dumplings to start. They were very good.We got the lunch special which came with soup (or a couple of other options if you'd prefer). The wonton soup was fabulous. Very flavorful and had nice big fresh wontons. I got the chicken and broccoli and my husband had the chicken and string beans. The lunch special comes with either white, brown or fried rice. I had the fried, super tasty with a good amount of veggies and pork. The chicken dishes were so good! All and all it was really good food with great sized portions for a lunch special. I actually think they were amoung the best in the area.The place was clean and the staff pleasant and the food was delicious!Highly recommend.”

“Having visited several times since their recent grand opening, their sushi is consistently the freshest and most flavorful we've ever had anywhere. The shrimp dumpling appetizer and sauce - wow. The young owners are charming, sweet and attentive. The restaurant is spotless clean, nicely appointed, always with enjoyable music (including Japanese music upon request). This restaurant is a new treasure for the Hackettstown/Long Valley area that will thrive for years as people discover this wonderful place.”

“I ordered lunch - Hunan Beef, good portion for lunch, comes with fried rice, a soup, crackers and a fortune cookie. The Hunan beef is very good. The price is less than $9. Next time I might choose white rice instead of fried rice. Budget place for lunch.”

“We order from Sonny’s more than we would like to admit. Over the weekend, I last minute ordered a grilled chicken salad to go. It was a busy day, and they forgot the chicken. We called and were ready to just drive back and go grab it. They immediately said they were giving it to their delivery driver to add to his drop off. They didn’t have to do that, and we really appreciated it- they definitely did right by us. Also, have to recommend the pierogi pizza and chicken Marsala pizza!”

“We came to Lil Tokyo as our first Sushi experience in New Jersey. It was in such a nice venue, the environment was clean and had such a pleasing atmosphere to it.

We were the only patrons in as a huge thunderstorm just came out of nowhere but they were still happy to serve us and allow us to bunker down if the storm got worse.

? Samurai Roll - Absolutely delicious and my favorite, the mango was fresh and the roll by far i will be getting in the future

? Kiss Roll - Shrimp tempura and crab meat eith spicy salmon, and it had such a pleasant spice to it and the ingredients were fresh.

Little ? Tokyo - I'm not usually a fan of soy paper wrapped rolls but this one was quite pleasant and the asparagus was cooked right to allow a satisfying crunch and taste.

Overall everything was fresh and priced very well for the quality we received.
Definitely recommend this spot for a quick sushi bite or even to-go.”

“The Nook in Hackettstown has reopened once again under the ownership of the Rocco Family! I stopped in to check it out and to have some dinner and I can already tell that The Nook will definitely once again become the place to go for drinks or dinner, live music, karaoke and trivia, especially with their very reasonable food and drink prices! It has been completely remodeled but still has multiple rooms. The pub area (former Dance room) has a bar and is really nicely decorated with lots of room between the tables. Their larger dining/banquet room (former Rock room) looks like it’s perfect for events like a corporate holiday party, shower or wedding. Their prices are so low it’s unheard of, especially for the excellent quality of the food. Nothing on the menu was over $13.50 with nice light pub food choices and burgers. They give you nice-sized portions and include fries. Check out our (my wife's and my) $6 Chicken Caesar Salad, $8 Chicken Caesar Wrap/Fries and $8 Onion Rings. The chicken was tender and juicy and the lettuce was very crisp. The drink prices are also very good with $5 Drafts , $6 Seltzers, $6 Wines, $7 Cocktails.”

“I did not have high hopes because the town appeared very backwoods. I was hungry and it was going to be a long day at one of the locations I was visiting. The burger and fries were AMAZING! I have the mushroom burger with cheddar and cheese fries. I would go back if it weren’t so far, but I heard the M&M building isn’t too far. If I go back, this will be the to go spot!”
