“Went with 4 people - not too many 4-tops. I’m guessing it’s mostly 1-2 tops on purpose. Short wait for a table but VERY much worth it. Food was delicious. I had a basic Bacon & Cheese but my friend had the breakfast tacos and said they were also delicious :)“
“This one’s a keeper. A wonderful atmosphere overall, much like Paneras used to be 10 years ago. Friendly service, “retiree corner” with veterans reminiscing over a cup of joe, fresh decor and clean tables, etc. Stop by if you ever find yourself in Hackettstown, you will not be disappointed!Parking: About 40 parking slots, never a problem to find a space.“
“A great coffee shop and it was super popular on a Saturday morning. They have good coffee and good prices and actually a great selection of other food and baked goods. The crumb cake looked amazing. They have a bunch of tables and stuff and then they have a few couches in the front room. I think this building used to be a post office which is kind of cool. They have a rather large parking lot and in the back of the parking lot they have a bunch of tables next to a stream. It's a popular spot for People on their bikes because the shop is right next to the Columbia path I think and not too far from the Patriots path as well. They have a drive-thru which was very busy, but it seemed to move quickly. It was busy in a good way that made it feel popular and happening, but they were really quick still because they had at least nine girls working.“
“We stopped in last minute on the way to a family meal and we picked up some sandwiches to go. The to-go sandwiches come with a bag of chips, but if you eat it there I think it might come with fries according to the menu. Our sandwiches were both tasty and mine felt light and healthy but with great flavor. It kind of feels like a diner inside, which was nice. The lady who greeted us at the door and took her order was very helpful and kind.“
“Absolutely great experience at this charming coffee shop! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the owners, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The baked goods were nothing short of heavenly - fresh and delicious, perfect companions to their exceptional coffee blends. Every sip was a delight, brewed to perfection. The owners' passion for their craft shines through in every detail, making this spot a must-visit for any coffee lover. Can't wait to be back!“
“Our waitress, Terry, was so nice and warm and friendly. Terry's Mom, who opened Mini Mac 49 years ago, was the cook. It is a very homelike place. It hadn't dawned on us, but right after we ordered, my wife asked if they accepted debit or credit cards. They don't! Panic!Terry, without a pause told us not to worry and to just enjoy our breakfasts. We did. They were both delicious. I ate every single bit.We left and drove to Flanders to make an ATM withdrawal, then returned to pay. (And tip extra!)Thank you both. What an experience!“
“Everything about Lake House signals comfort and charm. On a recent Saturday afternoon, my sister Renee and friend Jason and I enjoyed a wonderful brunch and settled into each other’s company. Several cups of coffee in…. And having opined about everything from the music scenes in the tri-state area to the challenge of becoming a minimalist and tons more “coffee tawk” in between, we vibed with management and were treated like FAMILY. Three thumbs up!“
“Forget about those fast food joints, drive the extra 1/2 mile and get some good grub. We had a table of 9 and got right in. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was spot on! Highly suggested. Pic of the Whipped Potato Bowl w/chicken and BBQ “
“First time. Small cafe just a few seats. Had a Malabar Monsoon pourover. It was pretty good. Very nice selection of single origin coffees. Will be back to try the Ugandan coffee when they have it. Like a mercantile shop also. Very friendly staff and great selection of a wide variety of “
