“We moved to Tennessee 8 years ago & long for good bagels which are hard to come by where we live. We found Howard’s Bagels while visiting for the birth of our second granddaughter. We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! “We met some family at Cafe Zingara for Sunday breakfast after they told us how wonderful the food was. And they were right - it was DELICIOUS! The coconut latte and rainbow cookie latte were extremely flavorful without being too sweet. We enjoyed the Eggs Benedict, kids waffle, kids pancakes, cinnamon swirl pancakes, and breakfast biscuit sliders. Their homemade syrup is a great bonus to the pancakes and waffles. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back to try lunch next!“

“We booked this for Valentine's Day evening. We are visiting from the northeast. We had the prefix menu and everything they served us was exquisite. Service was impeccable and it was very romantic. It's not in the very best of neighborhoods, but the building itself is stunningly gorgeous, and the interior even more so.“

“Our / Nuestra Passion is a great little coffee spot. The staff is friendly and professional. I had the fruit crêpes on Sunday. I thought they were the best. I was ready to go back Monday for more they are closed. The smoothie my daughter had was delicious fresh strawberries and mango. I only wish I realized sooner they were located right on Main Street . I have been there twice now and always a great time. Best coffee and food . Great staff friendly and kind.“

“I’m so glad we finally have a healthy spot nearby! I tried the chicken avocado spinach wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. It was super filling but still felt light afterward, not heavy or greasy at all, which I absolutely loved.

“Their smoothies are always spot on and refreshing. I also like their toast and my go to is always the smoked salmon toast. However, I noticed their bread has gotten smaller and thicker. And it was incredibly hard to cut through with all the toppings. They used to use the longer bread so it was easier to manage. Other than that, it’s a nice spot for a quick healthy lunch.“

“What did it take for our small wedding reception to be completely worry-free? Drew and The Fruited Plain Caterers! Having an outdoor wedding reception on October 19 on our back deck could have been "hit or miss" because of the uncertainty of the weather. But Drew connected us with the right rental company and the heated tent was AMAZING! With 25% of our guests being vegetarians we needed a caterer who could deliver deliciousness to all our guests. Drew totally hit it! We opted for a family style luncheon and got raving reviews on the quality of the food. From the first contact email 12 months ago, to the last dish put away on wedding day, we felt we were in great hands with a consummate professional. Drew was flexible enough to accommodate some of our special requests, and because we were dealing with the company owner, decision-making was straight forward. His servers were professional, efficient and friendly. My kitchen was probably cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived! And if all that wasn't enough, honesty and integrity were also a key aspect of our working with Drew. He caught a staffing level mistake on our final invoice and personally delivered a refund check for the amount we had overpaid. Now THAT's someone I will be working with again, and recommending without hesitation to all my friends!“

“Great cafe in a beautiful calm location! They have a nice variety of coffee options, along with pastries and flatbreads. The coffee flights were fantastic and definitely worth trying, and the food was great as well. Almond cornetto and driftwood latte were amazing!!!

There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, along with a good amount of parking. It does get pretty busy, so expect a bit of a crowd.

“I really love the Regent Cafe, but for different reasons than the food. I had a family member in a morning program in the same building for several weeks this summer, and I was able to work remotely from the Regent Cafe at their big table in the back until it was time to take them home. I always made sure to purchase something like coffee or breakfast, but they never insisted I do so. They always gave me my space. As the days and weeks passed, we grew accustomed to each other, a mix of food prep and cooking and conference calls. When it came to an end, it was bittersweet. I felt like they had taken care of me, providing me with a safe space so I could keep my job while going through a really difficult time. I can't thank them enough.“
