“This is the first time I've visited there and I was so pleasantly surprised at how very cozy and cute this beautiful restaurant is. You automatically feel comfortable just walking through the door. Quaintly decorated. Old school comfortable ? I love that feel!The food?? 10 Stars Excellent!!The drinks? Big and Excellent as well. Bathroom has a very comfortable charm.Very clean and a place you want to hang out in with friends or family all night. They do catering as well!I highly recommend this Awesome Restaurant!!“
“The clams in wine sauce were so salty it was insane. They hurt mine and my partners tongues. Otherwise the food was good. The teriyaki salmon was amazing!!!! We also had their winterberry sangria which tastes exactly how you think it would--the mulled cider was the standout of that drink. The pub is very small town Irish pub style. It was cute.“
“It's a great local stop. The food is always very good, I've only had a few items I didn't like. (But that was honestly probably just because I was trying something I normally wouldn't eat. It's good to explore!) Staff is always nice, and the portions are good. St. Patrick day specials were delicious!“

“I was down that way get a part for my bike and I used maps to pull up a restaurant in the area to try and this pub came up it's is so family friendly everyone there was so nice the food was amazing the price was incredible for 4 ppl not even 80 bucks and we got amazing food pub burger chicken fingers Mac n cheese so delicious calzone that was huge chicken Frances definitely would go back again reminded me of my childhood“
“Four friends had lunch today. We got there right at opening. There was only one server, tending bar and waiting on tables. She was excellent! Our drinks and our food came in a timely manner. Her attitude was friendly and professional. Our food was very good, with great portions.“
“Best wings in the area. I always get the slammin hot and ask them to add some sauteed garlic to the sauce. It's a game changer. Great family restaurant and bar. I've had drinks with adults and had wonderful family meals with my toddlers. Great service and the prices are reasonable.“
“2/23/24: The Stanhope House dates back to 1798! It's like the all time Great American Road House. A group of us came put to support our friend's friend BD Lentz- blues guitarist. What an amazing show BD and his other accompanying musicians put on! The venue had phenomenal acoustics. Many of us were on the dance floor getting down. Many of the GREATS like Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Winter... have performed here. A basic bar menu is available. We had Beer, Pinot Noir, Cesar Salad, Sweet Potato Fries and Coconut Shrimp. All the food was pretty decent. The entire staff is very friendly. Parking is available in back of the building. "Presently , there's been a lot of talk about tearing this great historic place down. “Lots of fun! Cool old building that's beautiful to look at. We were accidentally there on trivia night but it had a nice atmosphere and everyone seemed to be having a blast. They have these adorable "make your own s'mores" trays with a tiny fire, marshmallows, Graham crackers, and chocolate. My cousin LOVED the pumpkin ale, which was still out in december, and the prices were reasonable“
