I feel like IHop is often underrated, the one here in Hackettstown absolutely shouldn't be! On Fridays they have a balloon lady come in and she and the wait staff are really great with the little ones! My 3-year-old has a blast. (We've done Friday's a couple times now.) I definitely recommend for families.

Wasn't very busy, 6 waitresses standing around talking. We waited 10 minutes for somebody to come to our table to take our order. Took about 20 minutes to get our food. Over-medium eggs came out cold and runny. Sat by the kitchen and all you heard was goofing and fooling around in there. Kids these days don't want to work. Our waitress was very pleasant when we finally got one.

Another disappointing experience. The restaurant was very cold... causing the food that was hot to cool very quickly. Some of the food was cold... long waits for staff to acknowledge us when we entered as well as for server toncome to table... just a bad experience overall.

This had been a 5 star review until today (4/09/24). Absolutely horrible experience. My food was cold and disgusting. Kitchen was apparently too busy, laughing and carrying on, to do their jobs. The 12yo manager too young and inexperienced to even offer a partial refund. I paid full price for garbage food. Completely unacceptable service. Will NEVER return. I see now why they have only a 3.8 put of 5 rating. Just awful experience.

I placed an order for banana strawberry pancakes and there was a dead baby roach in my strawberries. I tried calling several times and no one answered. I’m pregnant and immediately felt so sick. This is absolutely disgusting! This also means there has to be bigger issue within the kitchen. I’m so upset and disgusted by this.

I order here online and they over charged me. Not only that they forgot my side order. Called in to get a portion of my money back but haven’t gotten my refund yet. Very unprofessional, and scammers.I will never comeback here again.

Ok let’s start with price. This is cheap compared to other breakfast locations in NJ. Also the service is very good. ( May slip if very very busy).
I’m not into sweets but the daughter and missus say the pancakes were good. Highly recommend the poblano eggs Benedict - spicy and meaty. Also who has time to make hollandaise sauce at home?

Service was a joke. Went for breakfast and my father asked for coffee and it didn't come for 10 minutes, and a refill took forever or never even came. Servers stand around talking to each other while people need stuff at their tables. Definitely need to get their service together, otherwise the food was great.

I had a bad experience this morning because the service took more than an hour and they never served us the food and they only charged for the drinks and their tips and the waitresses with their face and you called them and they never paid attention to you, I don't recommend them
