good was amazing especially for my dietary restrictions ( gluten and dairy free) not Manny Italian places offer both. the place looked... like a hoarders play ground with junk shoved in every corner and up stairs and the bathroom was beyond gross. Despite the appearance I would try for the food.
I got the rose sauce mushroom pasta with chicken Marsala. they do this cool dinner thing where you pick 2 of any entrees and they give them both ( half portions, making it 1 whole dinner portion)

My girlfriend and I went here for her birthday and the food was spectacular. The staff treated us so well and was just as happy as she was that it was her birthday. The gluten free options were spectacular and the fried spinach that they put in the mootz was delicious.

First time here. Came because they have tons of Gluten Free options. I was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back. Adam was our waiter and he was awesome.

Portobello mushroom was very good, but the masala chicken wasnt my taste at all. Wasnt bad but didnt really like it. Zuchini rings were watery with zero taste, unfortunately.

Everything was delicious!! Even the drinks were outstanding. I had the Blueberry Mojito & my bf had the Cannoli Martini - definitely will be back!!! Sooner than later. 🥰

I have celiac and knowing with 100% certainty that everything I was eating was completely gluten free and having SO many delicious options was wonderful!
The owner took the time to actually sit down at the table for a moment to make sure we understood the menu and how seriously they took the preparation of the gluten free items.
The staff were all very friendly.
I would absolutely recommend this place - gluten free or not!

Cannot get enough of the pear and gorganzola purses.
My sister and I were looking for a place for a bite. We saw Mama's and agreed, yes here. What a great place! I loved the atmosphere, indoor and outdoor eating. Not overly spaced out, it makes for a friendlier environment. The sauce is great!!! Whenever I eat in an Italian restaurant for the first time I must have a basic with red sauce meal....for a test. A+ as well as the bread. Our waitresses were gracious and helpful in explaining their menu. They were a plus. We will be back. I loved my ravioli and my sister loved her eggplant parm duet -which was huge. I more than understand why they are so busy, as they should be. It was the perfect stop by for a bite. Thank you to all at Mama's!!!
Vegetarian options: There is are delicious choices for vegetarians. Not just a few items, there's plenty.
Dietary restrictions: We were asked right away if we would like the gluten-free menu. That's very considerate and nice to know for others.
Parking: There was someone in the parking lot the whole time helping people. Really nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchairs have easy access and room to move. Coming in is not steep, which helps.

So, my vegan son and I were in North Jersey. I heard how great the Italian restaurants were up that way. (I live in South Jersey). But, because I was with a 'vegan' (that is said lovingly, btw...) we had to find something for both of us. With a google search, we found Mama's Restaurant. Couldn't have been better. My son even said he hadn't seen a menu as extensive with vegan choices. He was pleased. Allie, our server, was super helpful and considerate with not only answering questions, she had the patience of a saint with all the comments from my 8 year old granddaughter. (She was in comic mode) My son even enjoyed having the opportunity of a vegan dessert. If we're ever up that way again, we'll certainly be visiting. :)

I invited my friend and her husband to celebrate her birthday. The food was good, but the servers were constantly asking if we want to take our food when we're still eating. This happened maybe 10 minutes after the dishes came out. We were looking at each other thinking "are we being pushed to get out of here?" Being the only Asians in the restaurant, we felt extremely uncomfortable dining here. I should say the food was really good though.

It feels like I die and go to heaven when I eat here. They have great service, atmosphere, and great food with a good diversity. They also ask about dietary restrictions which is very considerate. I also appreciate their patience as I like to go with my old folks. Thank you for what you do ☺️
