Mama’s Cafe Baci has a huge gluten free menu and every single member of the staff is well versed on how to handle a table with both GF and non GF.The GF calamari is fantastic. It is always prepared perfectly- never overcooked -as it is in many places.The calamari is one reason I will travel almost an hour just to eat there. The oils seems to be quite fresh, not old or burnt tasting, and it is a GF dedicated fryer. The other (and most important) reason, is I never get sick from Gluten cross contamination there. That is a really big deal.The owners are super friendly and so welcoming, and no matter how busy, they take the time to check in with most everyone that comes through the door. From the atmosphere, to the well trained, attentive staff, the pride taken in this family business is obvious.One year, our children had our anniversary party catered by Mama’s so it could all be gluten free and safe for me to enjoy. They picked up a huge order with all kinds of food, unfortunately the pizzas were left behind at the restaurant. Sheri called apologizing and sent freshly made, hot on delivery, pizzas with a driver ALL THE WAY to our party an hour away. We were so impressed and very grateful as the pizzas were something we really look forward to treating ourselves with once in awhile. We are all human, and we all make mistakes, whether it was theirs or ours they made it right without excuse AND offered to give us the pizzas at no charge. We absolutely refused - we want Mama’s around for a long time.Glad to have it close enough to be able to go, but not so close that all those delicious gluten free desserts are too readily available!Always a pleasant and relaxing meal out.Dietary restrictions: Careful, attentive and well versed on the importance and severity of cross contamination for people with gluten intolerance and Celiac

I have been meaning to check this place out since I went plant based in the beginning of 2021. And I am glad I did! They have an amazing Vegetarian menu if that's your thing and also great regular recipes. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.The staff is top notch and very attentive and the whole place has a great atmosphere.It's worth the stop and the money. You definitely get what you pay for. ??Vegetarian options: I'm actually Plant Based and my wife is now exploring more vegetarian options. But what ever you want and however you want it prepared they had no problem with accommodating our request. They also prepare the vegetarian/vegan food in a different section of the kitchen.Been here a couple of times now and have yet to be disappointed.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would!!! Absolutely the finest Italian restaurant I have ever been in NJ, NY, and PA. My wife and I loved their dedicated regular and dairy free menu! Their drinks were phenomenal. All the staff were very friendly, professional, and the service was very quick and top notch! The owner was welcoming and warm! We would drive back in a heartbeat specially just to eat here again. There are no more such amazing family restaurants left like this. We can’t wait to be back!

We had a fantastic meal and loved the entertainment! My daughter is celiac and asked us to try this restaurant…. We will be back! Well worth the 50 minute drive to have a gf meal and NOT get sick from cross contamination. Thank you Mama’s Cafe and we will be back soon!

Sad experience at Mamas. Pasta too al dente in both dishes, Espresso Martini poor at best. Should be made with real espresso....Service was ok. Decor could be modernized for sure. Also, the table for two in front of wait staff station is horrible seating.
Food is good, Italian country ambient is supported by the Roman Villa inspired interior. A nice place to settle after a day at work.

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. They really do treat you like family and are absolutely amazing all around. Then the food. Oh, the food is just to die for! I live in Cincinnati and only get this when I travel here for my grooming show/competition yearly. If I could travel here more or move here for just this place, I would. I got to sit at the bar this last time, and the gentlemen I met and my waitresses treated me wonderfully. I got the 4-seasons pizza which gave me more choices in one pizza. Highly recommend!
