The chips are stale, the salsa wasn't salsa, the queso.. wasn't queso
The fajitas was overpriced and didn't have spices.

Got there around noon for a light lunch with kids. I’ve door dashed from the restaurant before but never went inside and was really shocked how dirty the restaurant was. It was dark, flies everywhere, sticky and humid. I can only assume if the dining floor is this dirty that the kitchen is. The chips and salsa were ok but one of the chips had either a segment of a fly leg laying on it or a split end of someone’s hair. Then the steak in my kids steak tacos tasted chemical in a way. Which I’ve never experienced card when I ordered via DoorDash . Safe to say I won’t be coming back and wish I was ignororant to these issues cuz we did order them thru DoorDash a lot

Highly recommend, the food and service here are fantastic. Items are made authentically and delicious. We tried the beef quesadilla (delicious), the taco salad and the chicken enchiladas rojas, everything was well made and fresh and the portions are generous. Jesse was warm, helpful and accommodating. Definitely will be going back.

I've recently moved from Passaic County to Warren. I've been to Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic County Mexican restaurants, their fajita skillet is amazing! And that's underrating it. Great food. Tremendous steak, chicken, shrimp. Their Guacamole is tremendous. Easy Top 3 of all my experiences. Their food is worth every penny.
Their service is atrocious. Terrible. Lazy, inattentive. Couldn't get napkins, drinks or sour cream to the table. As if we weren't in the restaurant.
Food is a 10! Easy 10
Service is a miserable 0.

Great Mexican restaurant in Great Meadows! Jessica is a great waitress and the food is always great as well… we always happen to go when a band is playing and my son loves it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Fabulous Mexican Dining Experience! I recently visited Maria Bonita and was blown away by the entire experience! From the moment I sat down, the vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a delightful meal. The decor, with its colorful decorations and festive vibe, made it feel like a true celebration.
The food was absolutely fabulous! I started with a refreshing margarita, served with a perfectly salted rim and a fresh lime wedge—crisp, tangy, and the ideal way to kick off the meal. For my main course, I had a sizzling plate of fajitas loaded with tender steak, grilled peppers, and onions. The flavors were bold and authentic, with just the right amount of seasoning. The accompanying sides of guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream were fresh and complemented the dish perfectly. I also tried their quesadilla, which was packed with gooey cheese and savory fillings—pure comfort food!
For dessert, I couldn’t resist the churros, which were crispy, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with a rich chocolate dipping sauce and a dollop of whipped cream. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.
What really impressed me was how fast the service was. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived quickly, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes—I felt like I got great value for my money.
To top it all off, they had live music playing during our visit, which added such a fun and lively energy to the evening. It truly enhanced the whole dining experience and made it feel like a mini fiesta.
I can’t recommend this Mexican restaurant enough! Whether you’re craving flavorful food, a festive atmosphere, or just a great night out, this place has it all. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We have been here once before when they opened and wasn't impressed. The food was very bland. We went back again last night figuring we would give it another shot. Unfortunately the food still has no flavor and to top it off we sat at the bar and had 6 friends show up and sat at the bar with us all separate bills yet charged us all for a party of 6 plus when we all arrived at different times. We definitely will not be back.

Just not worth the money. Very bland all arouund and the balls to charge 2.25 for a side of salsa thats two tablespoons? Heard good things about this place but a tastless ground beef burrito and stringy chewy chicken enchiladas verdes. Don't even need to try it a second time.

We love the restaurant. We always order Pozole and get the desserts
We drive from Pennsylvania Poconos long drive but it’s worth it..

We received a warm welcome, great service and delicious food. Very accommodating. Looking forward to going back real soon!
