Came here on a Friday night for dinner with friends. And it was great. Shown to our table right away. Hostess was outstanding , the food and service were both excellent. Service was attentive and prompt throughout the meal. Our server checked in just the right amount, and everything came out hot and fresh. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in their food, and the front of house makes sure guests feel welcome. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to, highly recommend!After that we also had a drink at the bar. The bartender Kevin was outstanding and so accommodating also.

I have been to and ordered takeout from Taphouse Grill several times. The food is typically good, but I wouldn’t say outstanding. I ordered takeout tonight and the food was just awful. A portobello mushroom soup with little to no taste; chicken Milanese that was overcooked and dry; and a side of sautéed spinach that had so much garlic it was inedible. The price of the chicken Milanese was $29. Although it came with the traditional salad greens on top, there were no sides (rice, potato, vegetable, etc). So, basically $29 for a dried out chicken cutlet with arugula on top. A very disappointing experience😔

Taphouse Grille - Hackettstown has undergone some changes. We learned there's new ownership which in turn updated the menu and has invested in improving the dining rooms and bar area...all that's positive as was our experience. We were greeted very warmly upon arrival and immediately shown our preferred table request through the Open Table App. Our server was excellent. Helpful, professional, observant and attentive. We both enjoyed sharing a Greek salad as a starter and we each enjoyed our entree. Even with some adjustments everything arrived perfectly cooked (I asked for a medium rare burger and it was perfectly cooked). My wife's pizza was very nicely done and we really enjoyed the experience.

I've been to this establishment a few times since their opening, but this is the first time I needed to write a review. Had a reservation for 5pm. We should up roughly 30 minutes early and decided to grab a drink at the bar. Selection was great, and service was prompt. When we were seated for our reservation, the waitress was polite and professional. Our orders were served to us fast and the taste was excellent. Waitress checked on us at just the right amount of time. None of the checking in too fast, or not often enough. Towards the end of our meals, the general manager of the restaurant Mike, came to our table to greet us and see how our experience was. Mike left a great impression and you could immediately tell that he genuinely cared about how guest were doing, and the feedback they had. Great experience our Party Of 5 had with Mike and the rest of the team! I highly recommend others to pay them a visit!

We ordered tonight and waited an hour beyond the initial estimated time. While frustrating for us and the 2 DoorDash drivers that waited for a long time and finally dropped the pickup, we understood they were probably just busy so we waited with patience. We were excited to finally get our food and all e of our orders were wrong. We got a pizza covered in penne vodka. Eew unless that's what you actually want. No one here would touch it. Onto the burger. we ordered a specialty taphouse burger complete with bacon, onion rings, steak sauce etc. We got a plain burger. Last order was kids grilled cheese. It came soggy with what looked like a single piece of cheese that all melted outside the sandwich where it was sliced. Absolutely wretched.

It was Mother's Day, so we assume they were just overbooked/understaffed, but it was definitely a less-than-positive dining experience. We waited over an hour for our food and rarely saw our server. Hopefully just an anomaly - usually we have no complaints about Taphouse!

I'm not going to lie... this place was amazing! Our Serever Alexa was so nice, a really great waitress, even made sure that everything was okay when it totally was. My boyfriend and I had stumbled upon this place when we had gotten popeyes the on the weekend! I was looking at the menu online and we decided to go for a nice little dinner date. Little did we know that 7-9 on Tuesdays it's bingo night! Did I complain? no. Did I have fun? Duh, you get to win free drinks, free ice cream, or a prize (TOTALLY WORTH IT). Not to mention the food was to die for! I had gotten the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich as my entree, which was absolutely phenomenal. For the starters we had the loaded nachos and the bang bang shrimp! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM! When our waitress Alexa checked on us, she thought that something was wrong with the food but it wasn't that! We had just wanted to take it home, which we did. My boyfriend for his entree got the steakhouse burger and that looked so good he loved it so much! So for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 3 beers, and a Soda we spent only $97! THATS TOTALLY WORTH IT! He had also won bingo twice in two different rounds and he won a free drink and a free dessert! All in all GO HERE! Make a Tiktok for it! Make it go viral... well maybe not the viral... We still wanna come on every Tuesday for bingo.

This place was very nice, for date night. I met the Woman of my dreams..last year, and she came up with the idea of this place, since I just moved to Hackettstown. Great service, good food!
Server was excellent. The food took a while to get out to us, but we were not disappointed. Recommend the Cuban Sandwich and Country Style pork chop.

Taphouse was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered a mix of specials for the night and standard menu items. The vodka sauce was perfect. We all loved the short ribs. I got the goat cheese and beet salad. The portion sizes on everything was huge. We were full and took home containers.
