They have been skimping out on everything since new ownership and prices are much higher. Ordered a Large cup. You cannot see ice cream over rim of cup. $6. Wish i could post a picture. Mr Cheng would be mortified. Suggest people refuse to tip now until owner responds. But not going back anyway. No bag no spoon no napkin. This place is off list forever. Got asked if I wanted the cup filled up. What place does that if not purposely skimping. Place heading for out of biz.

The hard ice cream is ICY! I mean REALLY icy. Before ordering any, be sure to ask for a sample first. Last couple cups of mint chip I had were barely edible. Soft ice cream is good.

Boy, I sure do miss Nelson!No one can ever make ice cream located! Good new owners try, but they are not even close to what he had made. I have tried 3 or 4 times but I no longer will go there. The new owners don't even come close to using the proper ingredients. It tastes like ice milk not ice cream

Don't bother.This place is gross.I guess someone just got done smoking a(blunt). The whole place smelled like skunks ass! The ice cream was freezer burnt and the one employee told us how she is going through hard times and just trying make it back to Florida...and also reads tarrat cards......all we wanted was ice cream. This place should be hit with a reaper drone. My daughter was horrified!

I’ve been here a few times since the new owner took over and the quality just is not as good. I always loved going to this Carvel, Nelson always had great quality ice cream and cakes. But the last time I went the soft serve was dripping and when they tried to the do the cherry hard shell dip the entire ice cream plopped inside of the candy coating. They scooped it out and plopped it into a bowl and stuck the cone on top. It was super chunky and waxy and just not good.

I stopped going here because their soft serve is like milk. I went there yesterday for the sundaes, and by the time I got home, part of it was melted already and I only live 2 minutes away. The owners just don't care. I never get a response back or they they never make good on it. They need to turn up the freezer. Mr. Cheng never had this problem.

I've been living in Bordentown for 16+ years. Whenever we have a birthday or any type of celebration I always order or pick up a cake from the Carvel in SunnyBrae. I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the customer service the new owners provide. I ordered a custom cake for my mothers 68th birthday, when we cut the cake it was not the one I had ordered. I had ordered specialty cake with chocolate on chocolate, my mother does not like vanilla and to our surprise, it was chocolate and vanilla. My mother was disappointed because she was looking to forward to eating the same exact cake I had ordered a few months before for my daughters birthday. More than half of the cake went in the trash, mind you I paid over $30 for this cake. When I called the following day to express my disappointment, the employee that answered the phone pretty much accused me of not placing the correct order, then when she actually looked at her receipts she admitted that someone made a mistake. I asked to speak with the owner and gave her my phone number so they could call be back at their convenience. 10 minutes later I get a call back from the same employee telling me that the owner apologizes and will leave me a $10 gift card for my troubles. LIKE WHAT!?!? I don't want your $10 gift card I want a new cake, I want the cake I ordered. I will never ever be ordering anything from this SunnyBrae Carvel again, and neither will the rest of my family (that also orders from this Carvel) I will drive an extra 20 minutes and go to a different Carvel, hopefully they have better customer service.
